Can anyone recommend the best soil for cannabis in Sydney, possibly from Bunnings or flower power? Even if a mixture. I have noticed the seedling soil is probably better than most pot mixers as it contains less bark. Would it be best to grow the complete plant in a seedling soil ?

I have been growing this plant for 3.5 weeks now, it’s still really small. I felt like I have over watered the plant previously hence the reason it’s yellow. I have been watering the plant every 1-2 days. It’s doesn’t look to healthy. I’m having trouble knowing when to water it. It was really green for the first 1-1.5 weeks, after this it started to turn slightly yellow And has stayed the same ever since. I usually put my index finger in the soil, once dry I usually water. I have noticed the soil on top is l always dry. I usually notice the soil is moist below 4-5 cm, which confuses me when to water it. Am I over watering it or under watering? Should I change th…

Hi all Ive been a bit quiet, but busy also. Thought I'd start a new thread for next grow, bit early yeh but there's a bit on the prep work leading up. First the compost pile I was able to a few loads of old, half composed dryed out cow shit. Made a cage up bouts 1.2 sq Done layers of poo and barley straw, there's a big bag of horse poo, prime Lucerne, some old and fresh grass clippings and chopped up garden leaves. Between each layer I gave a good sprinkle of rock dust and paloginite them watered in with EM1. That was done start of May, I've given it a few extra warterings up till now with the EM1. So... in my first post a few weeks back I said I would keep a grow diary on here so I could get tips. I ended up having a lot of drama getting started and now that I have things (somewhat) under control, I figured I’d post my progress so anyone interested could discuss it with me. Hi, this is my first time posting and first grow, I got hold of a few seeds was told they were GG Allin a indica variety so I put 1 in a pot outside. The weather is getting cooler here in the south so I’ve started the next run of autos. 1 x Mexican Airlines, 1 x Crystal Meth & 2 x Green Crack. The seeds were soaked in seperate glass jars in tap water for 20 hrs. The jars sat in the dark on a heating pad to keep them at a decent temp to pop. I’m using 5 gallon fabric pots with Easy As Organics living soil. Some jiffy pots were soaked and crushed up and mixed together. I hollowed out a hole in the top of each pot of soil & dropped the jiffy mixture in. The seeds were then placed pointy side down into the mixture and covered. First indoor grow going well so far, few issues with set up as you may have seen in other threads; 400w hid cool tube and filter/extraction ventilation goes in Wednesday, will keep the babies under the 130w cfl for a while longer (i read that white light is better for seedlings) Steady temperatures between 20-30 with heater at on during the night, doesn’t need it during the day; cheers sunshine state! Humidity fluctuates between 35%-45%, not too worried just yet; will need to boost up to at least 55% for veg and have humidifier in tent, ready but not yet needed. As the title says. Recently took receipt of Mars hydro 2000 and tent via the Bay. Was intent on growing Super lemon Haze from Greenhouse, but fucked 'em up germing so hit the freebies mentioned in the title. Minus any overthinking on my part, and these girls all popped nicely, so here goes.
