Alrighty, so as posted elsewhere I'm going to do a bit of a trial this time, and hoping to prove that LED tech has come a way lately from the red blue poo that has ruined its rep. Also I have grown my fair share of Fastbuds autos with fair results and hopefully they won't let me down this time. I'm not expecting whoppers but I've picked the strains that wifey likes and i'm planning to grow enough of them to get a decent harvest anyway. Just looking for strain stability to be evident and hopefully be harvested in less than 3 months. Also the young fella is gonna plant a seed of each strain to learn how to be self sufficient... so we'll see what they die of. Early day…

Going 1 girls scout cookies fast bought from yantra seeds. Tent is 1m x 1m x 2m h using viparspectra 600w led for growth phase and 600w hps with cool vent reflector for flower. Tent has extraction fan and filter (can't remember sizes etc.) Also have 2 fans. Growing in coco perlite mix in a 28l pot will be using canna coco nutrients, just run off into tray under pot. Any suggestions for other nutrients etc i should add through out the grow would be appreciated. Just broke through today after only a day hopefully a good strong plant. Long time lurker first time poster. Finally took the plunge and cracked my first seed from caveman, cbd auto Charlotte's sister. Been reading and watching YouTube and head is spinning from information overload but I think I've got the basics. Seed went straight into 10L fabric pot, would use 5L next time, with 70-30 coco perlite. In the middle, mixed in a handful of castings from the worms and I hope that will do for the first 2 weeks. Will be using megacrop and bud explosion afterwards in a 20L reservoir with blumat and an aquarium heater. Oh and it's in a 40x40x120cm tent with a qb 135w led light. Well as yous all know I'm going inside. Lights are 3x260w HLG vspec. They are according to the manufacturer the equivalent of 3x500w hps. I will be growing in soil to start so i know ill find all sorts of bugs as the grow progresses. There will be 4 plants 2 velvet bud from seedsman and 2 others from a mate that he and i cant remember. Ill put the plants in tomorrow. Fans are a bit loud so im going to have to build sound boxes for them and get some better ducting but thats a few weeks away. Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Does anyone know what happens to the plants if they don’t get a full days sunlight, I may have to move to an area that’s not getting nearly as much sun as I’d like, will this cause the plants to take longer to grow and finish flowering or will they still be done in same period just won’t have as high of a yield, cheers Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

For the first time I'm growing out some reg seeds which were freebies from msnl. The first 5 I've no idea which strain as it was a while back and the 2nd 5 are aurora Indica. 10 seeds in total. They are in jiffy pellets this morning with a heat mat underneath after the seeds being soaked in a cup overnight. No idea about my plan yet but after they sprout they'll go into small coco pots in the cupboard until my NLs in the other space finish flower. Will need some help determining sex from you guys here when they are big enough. Won't go the scrog this time but will do some topping and pinching to keep things level when needed. Indoor grow, semi perpetual (No real set time schedule to move veg into bloom area, just when I feel things are right) Will be using DIY 350W Citizen CLU COBS at 3500K for veg and 480W QB288 v2 boards at 3000K for bloom. Both lights set to 18/6 schedule at this stage as both pots are currently vegging Main veg area in a 3x3 tent with the COB lights and Bloom area will be the main 3mx3m room with the Quantum Boards.
