Recently I bought a Telaire 8001 CO2 sensor on Ebay, and since I don't ahve the rest of the equipment (CO2 bottle, regulator, valve etc) I thought I would use it to test how well the CO2-by-fermentation theory works. By my calcs, 1kg of sugar makes 0.5kg or 0.25 cu. metres of co2. (http://homedistiller.org/ferment.htm, caution: addictive site) That is enough to raise the PPM of 210 cu. meters of air from 350ppm to 1500ppm. So if you had a growroom of 5x5x3m you could raise the CO2 level 3 times. A 25L fermenter can ferment about 5kg of sugar, so multiply those figures by 5. Hey Guys, I finally have some sprouts this is a continuation on from my previous thread SWC Stealth which was a build thread in the Hydroponics section check it out. The beans we are growing today are white label Double Gum, Paradise seeds Magic Bud, and some Northern lights x Big Bud from Nirvana. I will also be adding some Rox by Paradise if/when they arrive. My first batch of seeds was a bit of a disaster being a new rock wool user I watered them to much and they never sproted but as you can see in the pic I have learn't my lesson. hello im excited people,ive got 4 leaves on my widow4 leaved on the skunks and 3 on the issx bc kush. and 4 other iss xbckucsh on there 1st leaves..i have built a cabinet like the 1 someone posted. i probably should of gone bigger but ill learn these things as i go.i got 1 x 125w flouro above the seedlings and have started feeding them groe nutes at 300 ppm (thanks Frazzle) im a bit worried cause they are not looking a picture of health at the moment. i got them in a mix of coco perlite arund the jiffy 7s thyey are in 425ml plastic cupsthey are a bout 1 month old id say. hgow long can they stay in the cups 4 b4 they get root bound? how do u no if they is rootbound? …

Wow there are so many different setups on this forum, anyway my room is about 2.4m/5m. I have decided to use coco and a run to waste system for 4 plants, not sure what the acronym for that is OK I have been busy the last few days setting my room up, I do not really know what I am doing yet but I had a mate explain a few things to me which helped and I managed to get some equipment fairly cheap through the trading post. Hi all, Wish i had a cam from the beginning, But i didnt so lets start my first ever growlog from today day 35 flower. Pics were takena couple of days ago so they are day 32. Garden Style = SCROG of 6 Floor Area = 1.5 m x 2.0 m of big bud Number plants = 6 Feed mix & time = Using canna range plus budlink, 1ml pliter PK from day 1, Feeds are 6 times a day lights on Strains = Mostly Bigbud but there is a nother light in the back with 4 Dreamweaver, 4 mystery skunks from selfseeded plant and the best of blueberry just one. looking for the best. This grow is mainly about helping cube the Celtic Stone strain. Once i find an "Ingrid" pheno, my job will be to make it produce some seeds to make the strain more stable, I think the generation of seeds i create will take it upto 88% stable or something along those lines, basically 9/10 seeds will be the same plant Anyways I started the seeds off by a 24 hour soak in pH adjusted water, moved them to some wet tissues in my mini green house and waited for them to sprout. 2 days later, i had my first signs of life :thumbsup A few days later, the majority of the seeds had sprouted, but thanks to my lack of experience and not asking around, I buried the seeds a bit …

SOme lowdown scum snuck into my sons yard this morning and knocked off every 1/2 grown bud on his 2 beautifull outdoor plants. No brains eh - not even ready to harvest ! There goes a major investment in time & effort to look after the girls and a lost opurtunity eh. I hope they consider what will happen to them if we find out who they are !

My god, Hydro setups are a major pain-in-the-ass aren't they? Damned plumbing and pumps and shit, this better be worth it, if CoCo gives me better results I'm gonna smack those "organics doesn't work under lights, Hydro is easier" people in the head :thumbdown . Here's a couple hours work... 1. Drain System plumbing done.... only took FOREVER to hook-up. Tested and working with no leaks.

Dirt 8oz styrofoam cups. 2 12"x10" Trays with 10 plants each. 2 x 23w CFL (1600 Lumens) one on each 20 + 3 strays Daily watering (2 days water , 1 day 15-30-15) Bag seed. Growing out some bag seed to pratice pruning and other whims. They are at day 36 (Apr 5) But I didn't get the CFL until day 14 in soil (Apr 19) Planning on stipiing some lamp fixtures, mounting in a box and making reflecters with 24oz beer cans.

Dirt (for reveg) 60'"x22" (0.85 m2) 160w CWF 15-30-15 (with trace) every 2-3 days as needed WR (well 21/23 were WR and I got 4, 30% chance all are WR) Started 24hr on mar 17 I was pondering replanting in larger pots for health of plants. 3 of 4 are getting butchered for clones. The fourth one I am going to wait on to see how my clones go.
