Hya all, hope ya all doing well out there! It's been a few years since I've done any growning and I'm really looking forward to this next grow op that's being put together at the moment. At the moment the grow style is not determined, but i'm definately swaying towards the ol' bubbler system as it's always been reliable and low maintenance. The room i'm using will be sectioned off into a 2m x 1m room for flowering, and a 1m x 1m area for vegging. The lighting I have to work with is: 3 x 400w HPS, 1 x 400w MH. Ventilation: 2 x inline fans, 2 x ceiling fans, 5-7m of ducting, electric fan controller. Nutes and other additives: Nulife Quickstart Clone Accelerator…

Ok, well I have been writing two threads just lately and I thought I might compile them into one thread as they both seem to be leading down the same path... This will hopefully be a 'pre-grow' diary and a data bank of sorts for me, and hopefully others too, to refer to for info needed regarding a grow in an indoor grow closet/cupboard/wardrobe, in a nice organically rich soil with 'kind' organic liquid fertiliser/s. I think that just about sums it up in a nut shell? What do you reckon? In my first thread I started writing about how I was tidying up around the place and making ready to grow, of all things, forget me not's, a flowering ornamental plant! *chuckles* …

Well I thought i'd better start another diary and this time i might give detailed explanation of my feeding schedules and stuff so as to hopefully provide a rough guide for anyone else thinking of trying Dynamic Wicked Cultivation other wise known as Deep Water Culture or DWC Well first up i'm using 6 clones taken from a nice skunk#1 plant i've since started flowering. Clones taken approx 2 weeks ago and startin to really push roots thru the cubes now although one or two only have a little tap root and are a bit behind the others. For the first week the clones were only fed water, last 7 days they've been getting alternating feeds, (when the rockwool cubes almost fully…

Hi stoners, And welcome to QLD’s great outdoors! This diary will cover most of what’s lurking in the scrub around here, as I’m too slack to keep separate diaries! Don’t expect too much, as it’s all bagseed, tho most of it is from quality gear. Nutes will be predominantly homemade compost as soil amendments or brewed as a tea. This time I’ll supplement during flower with NutriPhos Guano (for P) and NutriKelp Seaweed Powder (for K). The idea is to keep my buds as cheap and organic as possible. First there’s a mystery plant that popped up about 8 weeks ago in clay near the door of the shed! It’s since been potted, then transplanted into a hole prepped with compost,…

I have just decided to post my first grow after relocating to Canberra. I had to pull my setup to pieces for the move and figured now would be the best time to make some improvements. I am currently growing in a cupboard about 80cm x 35cm deep and about 1.85m high. It is not the ideal situation because of the heat, but I plan to expand to a tent after I start my new job (need $$$). I was previously growing in coco but I have had a couple of bad grows where I got very little smoke. I believe this is mainly due to the heat and not the coco but I wasn't real impressed with it as a medium. It seems to hold too many nutes and I worry about not flushing enough. I might rev…

About 45 days ago I found 3 seeds from some Grapefruit a buddy of mine had. I started them in a simple mix of 3 parts top soil, 1 part vermiculite, Bat guano, and rare earth In a 5 inch pot. Only one of them started. I was not even share any would start. All the seeds looked a little premature. For the first few weeks the plant was keep in a vented cardboard box with 2 26 watt compact floresnts(16on8off) and a fan. It was looking good but a little small. Then I moved it in to a pine box that I made 12 inch by 18 inch and 30 inch tall. Then I got new lights 2 45 watts compact floresnts. Now it looks much better. The next step is a 3ft x 3ft 6ft ply wood box with a 25…

I bought some seeds of Ice, this is why I was really interested in Stoney's grow before. Anyway I decided to use the free (10 free, 10 bought) Ice seeds I got for my outdoors grow. So far, these have been in there 2 weeks before Melbourne Cup day. They have been looking a little strawny but are really filling up in the middle now. I have found, even with correct PH and a nice feed a few of the leaves, just the ones above the water leaves died/or become yellow but I have been told this is quite normal. If it's not normal, I really would put it down to some of the cold nights we have had here and I haven't been able to get home in time to bring them inside. As for the G…

hey guys.. this is my first indoor grow ever, and it seems to be going ok.. i was given a bunch of seeds from a mate, and using the old paper towell method, sprouted 2 of them luckily after an almost tragic event where my mum thought they were just dirty dishes and threw them in the bin, i managed to salvage them from the bin and get them wet again. 2 of them turned into little seedlings with one dying soon after. since then my dog has knocked the seedling out of the pot plant twice and bent it in half on one occasion, but has still somehow managed to stay upright, ive named this one lucky! another problem i have encountered as im sure many other first timers would have…

This grow is approx. 1sq m Lights are fluoro's, two of, equal to 75w each (11w fluoro) Potting Mix/Soil in 15cm pots 6 plants No feeding 2 Indica, 4 Sativa Okay, I'm dobbing in my partner, he's growing in my spare room . . . He planted the seeds he'd gathered the day after Christmas, so it's been two and a half months odds. He forced flowering his first two four weeks ago, they both are female (1 Indica, 1 Sativa). My partner noted that he's used no fertilisers, only tap water and left the rest up to Mother Nature (as these are indoor/outdoor plants, receiving up to 10 hours sunlight per day)! There's pics attached, in order, from go to where we are now .…
