Hi all! Im new to Ozstoners as I only just found you guys! Ive been doing my research using grow journals and hints in the GrassCity and ICGmag forums but I only just realised there must be an Aussie site so here I am! (Blame it on the sweet sweet smoke ) So, this is my first grow. Well, this is not entirely true I tried to grow about 10 years ago but that ended up a dismal failure as I did not do my research and I just stuck 12 seeds 4 pots. One of my most 'knowlegable' friends told me that the one's that produced 'balls' were female so throw out the others. hey dudes,thought it was bout time i gave you all some pics of my grow,couldn't upload pictures to my old computer,but got it sorted now. Ok the seeds that i am growing from are originally from afghanistan,they were brought into aus 2 years ago and grown from a season,produced seed and then i can thankfully say the seeds were shared around. They were planted at the very start of october,in soil,i am an amatuer grower so i did the best i could nursing them along with seasol,both the plants were tipped just once.they started flowering bout a week into january and since flowering i have hit them ozi magik monsta bud everyday at half the recommended strength.I did this up unt…

Hello all, stumbled onto this site 1 month into my first grow.... sooner would have been much better. These are my babies right here. Only problem is i dont know what strain they are (not really important), or wheather they are male or female (very important, i know that much). Is there any way to tell without forcing them to flower? i have some clones from them, and want to start flowering the big ones. I know your not supposed to flower parent plants but its been dry for so long now, and i miss the bliss . Also any tips on pruning, tying down etc to maximise yeild. Thanks, and i will try to keep this post current.

well its been a while gettin here but i'm back with a new strain or 2 or 3(upcoming diaries). thanks to the great person who donated these clones by the way. double stone is my late for christmas grow. 2 plants, recirculating dripper system, stealing a ride in my big cupboard 1.2 by 1.2( until new cupboard is finished ) 600w hps at the mo then maybe another 600w hps for the finish. dutch fest nutes for veg and flower, maybe some pk 13/14 3 weeks from the finish. airstone and some oxyplus maybe. ventilated by 2 300mm fans 1 for in and 1 for out, exhaust ducted into the ceiling cavity. i received the clones in excelent condition and found out that they were double stone …

Well I'm finally getting it all off the ground. Got my seeds from DrChronic. I was very happy with the service, stealth and speed of delivery. The seeds also cracked pretty much immediately. After some brilliant advice to put my seeds under a 400W HPS I have some crazy little fuckers...I germed the seeds in soaked rockwool under 400W HPS. I put the cubes over a mesh sitting above container of water as they were drying out too quick on their own... this solved the drying problem and they got some pretty sexy roots out the bottom. I planted them in the containers yesterday. I didn't have the heart to cull any at that point so made up a little 4 pot DWC. I really hope I get…

Hello all, I am very excited to inform you that I am growing for the first time. I know not to expect much, but this is really just an experiment to see what its like to grow my own. thought i might start a diarie of my first indoor attempt wish me luck this is an organic grow just hand watering have twin flouros to start the seedlings from sensi seeds and for future clones,400wtt mh for veg and 600wt hps for bloom have a grow tent 1.2x1.2x2 ive heard good things about nl so pretty happy with the choice they also gave me some seeds for free just had labbeled on it bbxms looked up on sensi site and thought it could be bigbudx mexican sativa but not sure well started germinating did 4 nl by wetting paper towel on a plate and putting it in a plastic bag to retain abit of moisture and chuked 4 bbxms and one nl straight into some seed rasing mix jus…

Hey all, im gonna be logging my first grow here! Im doing a stealth outdoor grow in the ozzy bush, im using some bag-seed from some high quality assie home grown, not sure on the strain but its good shit, . So far I have germinated the seeds, and planted into some bio-degradable jiffy pots with some seed raising mix, and those pots are now in some bigger pots with general purpose potting mix till i get a mix done for my main holes. I will be sinking some 30 - 50L pots, and filling with the mix I end up using. Heres some photos so far of 4/5 I have left. Hey everybody this is my first attempt at an indoor grow. I'm using 1 x 400 watt Son T Agro HPS + 4 x 48 watt cfls (5000k - natural light). Also using 1 x 240mm metal fan for input air and 1 x 150mm centrifugal fan attached to a DIY carbon filter (wardrobe .5m x 1.1m x 1.6 m. Using 100% Organic soil: 40% composted cow, sheep and chook shit with blood and bone and dolomite, 20% worm castings, 20% coco peat, 20% vermicu/perlite, and bat guano.
