Hello All, Decided to switch the plants to flood and drain. Stressed them out a bit ,but, they're starting to kick on now. I've got them in rockwool with a light layer of coco fibre on top. The nutes flood to about 1 cm below the tray level with approx. 40 litres left for rootspace. They are in 200mm baskets. Also built a cloning/ starter box today. It measures 400mmW x 600mmD x 700mmH, with a height adjustable shelf. It has a 55watt ( 275watt equiv. ) 6500k CFL. I have a couple of questions for this one; Do I need to vent the box, or is opening it a couple of times a day enough? & Should I fix some side fluoro batons for extra lighting or not necessary for t…

A mixed grow of Super Skunk and Sensi Star. While some spoon effect has been achieved since the last mixed run, I think station hole changes on the NFT are the go. Light green in images where MH prevails over the HPS being yellow. Now at week 6 and 3 weeks to go as they're approximate 9 week finishers. Just one of 5 runs a year as there's obviously time spent in veg before 12/12 flip - same ol' rerun caper. L8tre.

so this is my next run after finishing up my clones of plants in the room getting the flower treatment. the two little girls will prolly stay in coco and i hope to get a few cloned runs out of them. umm currently serving up feeds every 2/3days at ec of .850 using dutch fest grow A&B and super thrive at 1 drop per 500ml (that might be a little be too much). they both planted on 31/9 and they cracked a day apart the shorter one was super leggy and couldnt hold its weight up and ive replanted it deeper. so the plan is to use up most of my veg nutes that is dutchfest (i got 1/4 left of both bottles) and Cyco platinum grow (2 new bottles) this one will also be update…

Hello All, thought I'd put up a few photos of my first " baby " grow room. Took a little bit of work bricking up an internal enclosure, but well worth it I hope. Bought a " Bud box " tent 1.6 x 900 x 500, with a 400wMH " Gro Lush " globe at 16 on 8 off. The photos are a couple of weeks old now ( disregard the date ) and I will endeavour to place some more up to date ones soon. Got a couple of 175mm thermal inline fan kits from Bunnings ( on clearance at $22 each - absolute bargain ) which I'm running at half wattage - approx. 40cfm with venting via 65mm pvc along the plant mid section and onto the globe itself. O.K. So ive got a few seedlings on the go, and rather than jump on here whenever i encounter a problem(which i suspect may be often...) , i thought id start a diary and hopefully get some sweet arse help/advise So garden style is my backyard- using Earthcore premium potting mix. Started them off in disposable plastic cups with slits cut in the bottom for drainage. Will be potting them up soon, just a matter of getting the pots!!! Plan on keeping them in pots so i can move the suckers around. At the moment the are sitting on the window ledge during the day, then under a couple of fluros at night. Welcome to my grow room. Here's the spec as requested in the guidelines. Grow style: Aeroponics - Test. Plants have gone straight in to flower. 11 hours on and 13 off from day 1. Grow System: Atomix Aeroponics System Pro.9 and V2 combi DWC/Aero Growing medium: Plants were started in a small amount of stonewool then went straight in to the aeroponic system. Container size: about 350 Litres each Room size: about 12ft x 9ft. Lighting: Two 600w HPS, one light per aeroponic system. Average temps: Lights on ambient 24c, at canopy 30c. Lights off ambient 20c. Hi all, Well basically as some of you may know, my crop this year was put into jeopordy by the police. They stole 14 of my plants, i had already made a late start to the season due to moving houses. I am going to give it another go and hopefully my new plants will survive the cold (due to the thick scrub no frost..thankgod) I am waiting on a delivery of some more higher quality and younger seeds than the ones i have in my possession, will probably obtain these on friday. hey, Probably should of.... could of... but didnt get or wait for a new chiller... This swc system consist of 3 50 ltr tubs brained all are raised on bricks, each tub has 2 8" holes cut in top for the net pots, they are all brained with 25 mm hose back to a 50 ltr resy... water pump is 1600 ltrs/hour.. 19mm hose comes off the pump its then reduced to 13mm hose then to a 13/13mm->6mm T joiner per tub to seal the hose a closed water ring cap was added Flow rate is 2.5ltrs a min per tub.. so wise man says should recirculate close to 6 times a hour...
