Well, a grower from dcfonline (a Danish grow forum where i'm active) have successfully germinated seeds in Polyester sponges (for cleaning) instead of rockwool cubes! http://dcfonline.dk/index.php?name=PNphpBB...ight=alternativ So now i'm trying to make clones in the same media. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Terkel/svamp.jpg I've made 20 cuttings and placed them in polyester sponges, and placed them in my humidity dome. i'm using rooting hormone as normal. I will make a feedback on the results of my experiment as soon as they are rooting.

So i bought the aerogarden to give it a go, if fail i will just grow tomatoes and strawberries or some shit, doesnt worry me.. Though what alot of people i believe are doin wrong is that they arnt trimming when the growth gets too high, the light needs to get to the whole plant, if it only gets the top of the plant obviously you wont get the results you expect. I used to grow outdoor plants and got it pretty good, since moving to a small apartment i thought id give it a go, i believe cutting the top and making it grow outward, or using weights to bend it down is the key to aerogarden growth. Its obvious this system isnt going to grow the amount most people want, but i…

I have an aeroponic setup growing white rhino and orange bud this morning i noticed little pods at the fist nodes under the flower heads of one plant, it is only the second week of flower, its an Amazon 32 pot and im using Dutch Hydro coco which isnt available in the shops yet it is a lab sample, i have recently give them a light spray of superbud every 2 days when lights are out. They were all grown from clones from healthy mothers so i have killed it off straight away taking no precautions, my grow room is a walk in wardrobe 4ft square, wall to wall mylar, light sealed using a 400 watt cooltube vented out through a carbon filter, 2 oscillating fans, an extra fan mounted…

hey guys im New to the growing indoors thing and i was just wondering if i could get some tips for my first grow It started life as a seedling in my closet, growing under a 600w hps light with no fresh air and temps were up around 90+ the light was inconsistant due to having to turn it of wen we had visitors, witch also only allowed me to have it on 12/12 it was like this for the first month and a bit i have since learned a few things ,i think . -I have moved it to a place that has fresh air circulated with a fan temps are down to about 78-85 with light on -still using the 600w hps light at about 9 inches above the plant -water wenever the soil looks a lil dry,try not to …

Eikel's Water-Cloning Technique 1 2

Hey Guys, Well I introduced you to my experiments in water-cloning with this thread. I have continued my experimentation and have refined the process down to an easy to follow, quick procedure. People using this technique will find much faster rootings and far lower failure rates than with "normal" cloning methods such as rockwool/cloning-gel/direct-to-medium techniques. The essential concept is that the inital formation of roots in rockwool clones tends to take the longest time out of each stage of the process, wouldn't it be nice to be able to have those "micro-roots" come out almost instantaneously so your clone has approximately a 7-10 day headstart? You can …

just after a little advice...i'm currently using clear plastic tubs in my hydro cupboard, and I was advised that the clear tubs may let the root system be exposed to too much light. I'm using a 400 and perlite with two clear tubs....can anyone offer me any insight as to whether this is going to adversely affect my plants? thanks.

Hello again people, the last week i have had thin stalks with tiny flower heads on them growing out of my buds like small daisy chains, its 31 days into flower, i posted here last month about the Hermie, i am growing aeroponically using 400w growlux, i started off using a coco nutrient for hydro but couldnt up the ppm so i drained the system, flushed and now im using canna aqua flores, pk 13/14 and canna boost they seem to be happier than they was in the coco (DH), but these daisy chains of tiny flower heads are growing from the buds, i have flower heads apearing even on the bottom of the plant stems about half an inch from the 2inch basket they are grown in, i used DH su…

Hi all, this is my first post on this site. My question is this, Does anyone know of any techniques to getting harder buds? I have been growing in hydro for a while now and it seems im not getting the weight that i could be. My buds seem hard when they are growing, but then when they dry they are more fluffy and weight pretty light. So is there any techniqes for making them hard. Heres what im working with. four 1000 watt HPS over a pipe dreams type system. (PBC PIPING) I have a 12x10 feet room (3mx2and a half m) My light is adequeate for the space. Thanks in adavce! heres on quick pic of the system
