So I'm looking to undertake my first grow. I'm looking at a wardrobe DWC Drip system. The Wardrobe i've got is 57cm Deep x 72cm Wide x 107cm High. It has a self contained compartment above that's about 40cm X 72cm X 30 cm that could be used for cloning most likely, it's also got 4 drawers on the bottom. I've got some $$$ to burn so I'm looking at a few pre-made hydro setups on eBay. Yooo every1 new to the site but just wandering iv any of u lovely ppl noe were in qld i can buy ready to go grow box doesnt have to be big just big enough for 2-4 plants and also not so intrested in the tents but more the cabinet box style 1's thanx an tak iht ezy

Well I would love some input on this project I want to tackle. I want to setup a micro DWC system with a res. Here is a pic of what I have at the moment. As you can see I will have plants in the side circular tupperware containers, and the middle one will be the res. First of all I want to make a list of the parts I think I will need need for this setup. - 1 x Airpump(for res) - 1 x Rectangular air stone (for res) - Some tubing - 2x Netpots - Hydroton - Rockwool - Roll of reflective tape Now this is what I'm thinking of doing according to the research I have done. Please correct me if anything seems wrong. I will start by covering all 3 tubs with reflective tap…

hey guys just wondering would this work if i sucked air through carbon filter then through 400watt cooltube then 600watt cooltube then to extraction fan (6 inch inline centrifungal) or would i loose to much suction? maybe better off having a seperat fan for cooltubes?

Aright I'm just about to start my grow got seeds hole system is setup completely i just need some things cleared up before i start 1: what temp should the water be in the res 2: how high should i have my 400 hps off the rockwool when the seeds have just been put in and how far above the plant should it stay 3: i have CANNA veg A and veg B nutes so would i start using them right away or wait till the seeds have sprouted 4: what ppm should i try keep the water at through out the grow thanks in advance

ok guys this might seem like a stupid question just say i have 5 20liter buckets 4 for growing one for control say i fill all them with 18 liters of water thats 95 liters of water i would have to mix nutes up in witch would be more expensive than say growing in clay balls with a resuculating system with a 40 liter res would it be worth it or is that way to much water in the dwc buckets.....hope that makes sense

Hey im wanting to start my first grow but im a little nervous about going to the local hydro shop, im 18 however i look like im 12 and this usualy leads to many id checks and dodgy looks. Id like to know the do's and dont's what I can say and what I cant, and what's the best cover story that's going suit the type of equipment im buying + has anyone had a problems with going to hydro stores? Thanks in advance!

Hi, Was in Bunnings the other day and noticed an isle full of various sized fittings and piping/misters etc for irrigation systems. But it said these were only for main pressure ones? Can these be used for hydroponic systems / DWC buckets? If not where does one go to get their own fittings and piping from? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated...... thanks.

I bought some epsom salt yesterday and i want to use it in my dwc but not sure how much to use with 4 litres of water/nutes.And should i use it every water change or every second or what?
