Simple question: if one was to spray the butane from a thc extraction directly from the honeybee extractor (or what have you) into a jar of alcohol, would the butane simply evaporate leaving you will quickly dissolved thc in alcohol? I can't think of any reason this wouldn't work, but I don't know what mixing butane with alcohol will do. Might you have to heat such a concoction to thoroughly evaporate all of the butane?

Hi I am new to this sort of thing (blogs ect) but does anyone know where to get essential oil distilers in Aussie I saw a thing that looked like a coffee maker on U tube from USA but I think it might be a bit suss getting one sent over. I used to have a three peice pyrex system called a solids separator but the middle part was brocken and I havent been able to replace it. I still have the beeker and the distilation tube so I could maybe rig up something. But I have had a few explosions in the past with home made stuff. So... as a chemistry major (and a daily smoker of raw bud), I was obviously interested when a buddy of mine introduced me to BHO's (at least I think that's what it's called - the glassy/amber looking oil). I have been looking all over the internet on different ways to extract THC and whatnot. Hey all, this is only my second attempt, but it may be luck. Just ran another Iso Oil experiment. This time, did a little more looking, and came up with this method. Firstly, it was only on a small scale, but it turned out a treat. 1 oz of shake/trim in a sealed glass jar. Fine seive, for making dry hash. 125ml isopropyl alcohol. (Bunnings, Diggers brand, 99%, about 10 bucks.) Electric frypan Pyrex container, dish, bowl, measuring jug, as long as its Pyrex. Water, preferably hot. ( its quicker) Small stainless steel stirrer. I need everybody or anybodies assistance here. A few years ago I came across a thc oil recipe that actually cured skin cancer. It had a video with it as evidence. I watched skin cancer vanish in 10 days time! Amazing is right... I wrote the ingredients down, but pulled a serious stoner move by leaving out the directions and proportions. Hi all, I ain't been around for a while but have been dropping by to look when I can. I've been forced to take some time, which by the sounds of things is only going to get longer . But anyway. Due to the time I've had, I can't just sit on my ass all day and do nothing and have taken to cleaning my shed. Last week I found a cake tin, a big one full, of old bud about 8oz of it. Its all been manicured. Now I moved about 7 yr ago and the tin was in the bottom of a box. So its 7 plus years old could be up to even 10-15yr. Hello , I have recently been informed that the way I make oil is pretty much the worse way you can make it.....which put me off making oil until I could justify spending 400 odd dollars on a vac purge setup...plus a new tube for the extraction (I was using pvc) What I wanted to know is what are other possible methods for cleaning up your bho Not right into chemistry myself but what happens if you put a tsp of water in with your oil and then mixed it up then slowly evaporated the water out ? ... would this remove any of the stuff thats in there or just degrade the quality of the oil ? Hey all, Thought i'd post up a few pics and show people how I have made my BHO last 2 times!!! Pretty simple process. First of all I don't want this to be a BHO thread, as i have no where near the experience needed with this method to teach others yet. But I would still like to add, if anyone gets the idea to try this. I make small amounts of oil, 1/4oz of bud & 1 litre of 95% isopropyl alcohol. I use the frozen method where you freeze everything, buds, alcohol, containers, funnel, coffee filters & sieve. Works well, lovely honey oil. The oil is consumed daily for medicine.

k this is taken from that old how to make hash video with the silk screen, id just like to show you how i did it. all i used was old milo tin. rubber band and tape. and a bit of silky cloth from spotlight. oh and some left over weed / leaf - chopped up and frozen. ok so cut a hole in the milo tin, can openers work just fine and stretch the cloth tightly over the top and use the rubber band and tape to secure. lay out a bit of foil on a flat surface. and put your frozen stuff into the milo can. then start to shake lightly and put your hand in the can to genty push and swirl the frozen leaf around. after that for about 5 mins you will see lots of y…
