Hi all, Thought I would share my experiences with SlickVac, an American company that sells vacuum chambers, vacuum pumps and heaters for vacuum chambers. They are on Ebay and are fantastic to work with. I firstly ordered a 2.0 gallon (approx 7.5L) Stainless Steel vacuum chamber and a 3.0 CFM vacuum pump. It cost USD$161.10 for both and USD$86.23 to post, a total of USD$247.33 It works out to about $342.68 When the package arrived, the bottle of oil that comes with the pump had leaked a Quarter of the oil into the box. Winterizing BHO. Items used. 2 coffee plunger liners, any glass jars or cups do just as well. Coffee filters. Funnel ISO about 150mls A little sprayer bottle. And of course the BHO. You 1st need to dissolve all the bho into the ISO, this can take time, warming the BHO before adding the ISO can help in the BHO mixing a little quicker into the ISO, i used about 75mls, the rest of the ISO will be needed latter on. Hi All, So.. finally decided to give QWISO a go and see what I got. There are awesome guides on here... but for me they were missing some detail. Hi guys, I just made some oil using the ISO method. All is good, my problem is I got a lot more than I expected. No complaints. My usual problem, not being well enough prepared to how I can store it. The other oils I have made were never a lot so I just scraped it out of the dish as required. This time it is a good quantity and I am having problems how to store it and what in. It is really thick and would not lend itself to being sucked up in a syringe and squirted into a cap. Would it be ok to just leave it in the Pyrex dish in the dark somewhere or should I go use some other method of storing? Thank you brick.

Been doing a bit of research trying to find / build a cheap way to purge my iso /bho. Well had a crack at some more ISO with the left over trim from my hindu kush. And my home made oil rig using my hotplate vaporiser + clear container with a straw at the top works like a charm. vaporiser has pretty lights in it WHALEOILBEEFHOOKED! ...... pretty bent right now

Hey, A very kind friend of mine has given me about 10 grams of fresh BHO oil. It looks really clean. When i take it, it doesnt give me the sleepy effect im looking for. It supresses my anxiety a bit like valium does, but no nodding off to sleep. Would Decarboxylating it turn into sleepy oil? Is it possible to Decarb BHO? I dont know much about it, but he said it hasnt been decarbed. And from my understanding you need it decarbed to get the sleepyness effect right? How would i go about Decarboxylating BHO oil? double boiler? oven? I hope I can. Im finding alot of conflicting information and dont want to waste what i have and ruin it. Thanks all

Hey Fellow Stoners, I have made myself some canna infused olive oil today and thought I would share some pics. I used the method described in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vmMR4RRA0k I met some of people behind the three happy cats dispensary at MG this year. I used half an oz of blue berry and about 150ml of olive oil because 125ml didn't quite cover the canna in the jar. The temps for the decarb where 110-115C for 90mins, I had to keep a close eye on it and open the oven door a few times. I am glad I bought a decent oven thermometer. I heated the oil at 120C for 60 mins doing the same thing. I used a pretty big jar Here we are all set to go…

Hey OZ Stoners, had a look around & cant see any discussion on vacuum chambers & pumps being used / where they were purchased / cost etc. Have enquired at a couple places in OZ but they don't seem interested in selling to the general public. This is the one Im currently looking at buying of ebay. It's pricey at 253 AUD but the results will hopefully make up for the investment. I'm sure the postage will be 100 bucks plus. (have contacted seller & will let you all know) After reading Naychas tutorial & doing a lot of research I am really excited to make some good BHO. Any-one have any thoughts / comments / suggestions? Hey guys. I'm just wondering if anybody else here is using acetone for oil extraction? I tried it out over the weekend, and produced some wonderful concentrated oil. Method I had some leafy buds from my last grow (autoflower, not a great result). They had quite a few crystals, but the buds were very leafy and loose. Chop the buds up as if they were parsely, for sprinkling on a meal (ie. fine, but not too fine). Put chopped buds into a jar, and pour over acetone. Shake for 30-60 seconds. Pour acetone out onto a tray and evaporate over a heat mat (with ventilation of course). After a few hours, it's sticky and ready to smoke! I think the extraction works ver…

Gday All. This is an appetiser. Ive been working on a different method of preparing ISO oil. Normaly a long wash Alchol method will give a dark green oil. With my method you can get your 4th wash ISO oil looking like this. This oil was whipped for several minutes.

Just a tid bit for all contemplating making BHO. One shouldn't try tasting BHO in it's runny from, while purging it in pyrex, it sticks to EVERYTHING, teeth, tongue gums HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
