Has anyone tried isomerization of hash oil ? just reading cannabis alchemy, apparently by heating with a small amount of acid, the delta 1 thc gets turned into delta 6 thc which increases the potency. I think they call this budder

Hey guys I got some bottom buds that were put into the freezer straight after harvest a few weeks ago. Was going to do an iso or BHO extraction with them. Would it be better to take the buds out, thaw/dry them beforehand or just take em out the freezer & get straight into it? More than a year ago I bought this cheap-arse 'Rosin Press' from China - I paid us $200 - I am not handy and hubs wouldn't make me one I think the plates are aluminum and have no clue how close the temp is I dont even know how much pressure is being applied (I am working in F- daym housemates dont know C) With my last f'd up grow I have a few oz's of bud to play with buds LtoR/bottom to top 1.2.3 about a gram of bud (?) Hey ppl Do u guys think it would be ok to put this glass bowl with iso mix on to outside hotplate and gently heat to evape iso ? Hi I am hoping to do my first iso run and have some probably quite rudimentary questions. Any advice is appreciated. I plan on using a rice cooker, sugar leaf and bud. 1. Do i put ingredient into the freezer prior? 2. What temps must i consider? What does oil burn at? I have an infrared thermometer to try to get a handle on this. 3. Do i wait for bubbles to disappear then add a few drops of water to completely remove iso? Was planning to evaporating the water using a coffee warmer at 60c. Hey guys,does anyone know if the iso alcohol 100% advertised on E-bay(not denatured) is safe to use and safe to order I know there is a lot of diff brands ect,but as long as 100% does that mean it's ok for oil extraction? 5litres for $50? Tried to troll through forums so would'nt have to bother you guys,but could'nt find answer. Found this YouTube video from ruffhouse on making tincture for gummies or other edibles or simply as an ejuice. https://youtu.be/2z2W8dcSTKE I decided to do a small test with this much bud... Just like the directions in the video, all I did was trim up the bud, put it with a bit of vegetable glycerine in some type of jar/Pyrex dish and heat for 45 mins at 80°C. Best to use oil as the heating medium and get it to about 100°C It took me a bit to get temps right because the shit hotplate I was using only has 3 settings...
