I thought it was about time that I shared my method of making BHO. First up is the most important step, staying safe - This method of making BHO is extremely dangerous and much care should be taken to avoid blowing up your possessions and burning yourself beyond recognition. 40 grams of butane released into the atmosphere will mix with the air and form 1 cubic metre of explosive gas. This method requires releasing around 350 grams at a time so take a moment to imagine what that could do if ignited. Hey crew I plan on harvesting soon but we have family staying with us for a couple of days and I wanted to make some butter out of the leaves ! Is there a way I can trim off the leaves and store them for a week or more and not lose thc from them ? Like a ziplock bag in the freezer work ? I could probably put a slow cooker in the shed to make it but other options welcome ! Cheers

ok, I have made oil before using this method, but would like to try and make dabble shatter with this lot, which I have not tried to do before. i have 4lts of infused isopropyl alcohol which has had a 30sec quick wash only. now, I usually use a rice cooker to evap the isopropyl alcohol which leaves me with some nice FECO oil. but to produce shatter would I use the rice cooker to reduce the volume by lets say 80% then a bain marie oil bath to finish off iso purge produce shatter? or use bain marie only method with out using the rice cooker from start to finish? so the question is, does using the rice cooker produce shatter? which im after, or…

hey guys! so excited after doing my first bho run lastnight. Will post my process and some photos below! I made a big rookie error not checking if the ball valves were screwed on tight from the factory so as soon as i went to create a vacuum on the column it started leaking pressure so i just started hitting it with a can of butane, used approx 30gs of shitty trim and 15gs of decent frosty buds (sour orange). Barely took 1 can of tane to flush out the oil which was surprising for a first try, only yielded about 2 grams as you'll see in the photos but that's on me not checking fittings and not doing the process right! WARNING Making BHO (butane hash oil) it a very dangerous process, you are using a highly flammable substance, great care is needed and all ways do out side... The tube holds about 45 grams, when packing the tube i use a bit of broom handle to pack it a lil bit as i fill. Once full and and both ends are put on with the filter i use the vac pump to pull a vacuume in the tube so it pull the butane in when i put in. Gday peoples, I am a big fan of BHO but after reading Naychas thread (which was phenomenal) i feel i haven't been getting the most out of it as well as using incorrect materials ie. Pvc pipe etc. Would there be a quality DIY stainless steel extraction tube guide or has someone made one that is successful and care to share with me? I am very keen, i am ordering the vacuum pump and pressure pot to help with refinement, so any help with the cylinder would be a gas.. punn intended ✌

Hi all an industrial chemist friend has refined an oil extraction method that is damned thorough and very effective. She developed this method in conjunction with a retired industrial chemist in the USA as they both thought that current extraction methods were inefficient. Has anyone tried isomerization of hash oil ? just reading cannabis alchemy, apparently by heating with a small amount of acid, the delta 1 thc gets turned into delta 6 thc which increases the potency. I think they call this budder

Hey guys I got some bottom buds that were put into the freezer straight after harvest a few weeks ago. Was going to do an iso or BHO extraction with them. Would it be better to take the buds out, thaw/dry them beforehand or just take em out the freezer & get straight into it?
