I have done a Butane Oil Extraction with copper pipe and the extract after the butane evaporated is more crystals than oil? I used butane from the Smoko shop and was of the highest quality I could find but am guessing that there might have been some Propane in it?? Could that be the reason my oil just ain't oil? The finished product smokes fine and is quite a nice stone, but is dry and can be handled easily - rather like chips of dry oil rather than goop. If anyone has a suggestion or has experienced this before...please comment. Cheers, Jimbo

Hey Guys, I'm about to do a small butane extraction. I have been reading various threads which have provided very helpful information but mostly with decent sized extractions. I can't think of any reasons why making small samples wouldn't work but thought I'd check with you guys first. I have made my extraction pipe out of PVC 17mm / 0.75 inch internal diameter and 90mm or 3.5 inches long. I have made an end plug that I have taped with electrical tape to one end of the pipe. Hey Ladies , I had a bit of a look around and couldn't see one of these so please excuse if this is here already and therefore redundant . It is basically the same concept as the 'Honey Bee' but is cheaper , scalable and won't have little girls complaining about OS purchases. The pipes pictured here are with a 500mm rule , they are made of HDPE (plastic) and consist of two 'end caps ' and a pipe threaded on each end called a 'riser' . Hey people new to the site, I've learnt a lot so far so thanks for that. Basically a few years ago I was at a friends house and his brother had bought hash oil making machine. Up until recently I assumed that this was what was needed to make hash oil; either way it was much better than the butane or iso methods available now. anyone else try this? I used to do it. I was told that the THC would, over time in proper humidity (which means opening the mason jars like once a day untill the moisture stops collecting) and temperature, and that if you waited a month or two your bud would be way more potent.

I'm looking at making some honey oil for the first time and want to do it in the least expensive and dangerous way. I havent seen any posts here or on any other site mentioning honey oil extraction using bottled co2 gas. I had a few sun spots removed from my skin once and the co2 gas that was used to freeze the spots turned to ice instantly when it was sprayed on my skin. If the co2 could be sprayed into a tube to freeze dried plant matter to extract the oil, it would be a lot cheaper in the end especially if your already set up for co2 enrichment in the grow room and already have the gas onhand. What's the best way to get concentrated THC/cannabanoids that are orally active? I was thinking of a tincture or a pill, or a tincture that could be loaded into a gel cap or something. Would doing an alcohol/green dragon extraction and evaporating it down to the point of a thick consistency be best, or doing an extraction into cooking oil and using it in a dropper, or is there some other method? What I've read about evaporating an alcohol/green dragon extraction down talked about using the resulting thick liquid for smoking but I'm assuming it'd be fine for taking orally, right?

I was wondering if anyone has tried extracting hash oil from alcohol. I made some green dragon a while ago with about 2 shots 191 proof and about a couple grams of pollen. It sat in my cupboard till it turned very dark green almost browning. And this morning I decided to boil it in the oven, I figured if the THC is in the alcohol now, and that evaporates easily enough, I could boil it out and be left with pure THC? 20 minutes or so of cooking and I'm left with a small amount of thick sticky black goop. Is this hash oil? I was wondering if anyone has heard of a method like this, and any tips on how to smoke it. I've never had hash oil before.

I recently made a batch of oil with Iso 99% all seemed to go fine until i put it into 5gr vials,well all hell broke loose they leaked and when I took the cap off it volcanoed and frothed like a rabid dog.I put my lighter to it before I canned it ,no flame. what happened any help would be nice......

Where to get honey oil extraction pipes in oz or anywhere?I have one i bought from shaman-australis-botanicles.com.au but its made from pvc pipe and last time i used it(bout 2 years ago)the oil just looked different and tasted like crap so i thought the pvc was going into my oil.I have seen the honey bee oil extractors on youtube but dont know where to get them.
