I haven't done this. I wasn't there. Someone asked about it. Taken from Marijuana Potency, Michael Starks, And/Or Press. I can't find this one online, he has a later volume which appears to go further into the chemistry. Don't think I'd like to read it, this one was hard enough. There is some grow info but it's more about how, why, and how to get the most out of. I'd like to know what battery and lamp he used in his 4th aparatus. Remember, this was well before brick style mobile phones that had batteries bigger than car batteries. Depends on how much heat you need to pump into your solvent, I suppose, and the solvents are easily vapourised.

hey everyone these are just some pics of a recent batch of oil i did had a major spill so lost a bit but still got nice blob i double filtered it this time and did a 8 second wash so its very strong doesnt flame up at all just bubbles away and you feel the hit straight away.

Hi there guys and glas Not sure if this is possible but i was thinking, the canabinoids and terpinoids in cannabis are non water soluble and at the same time melt and become a liquid when boiled in water which made me wonder, what if cannabis was subjected to the same process that are used to extract essential oils form other plants ie lavender and tea tree? The process is much the same as distilling water however there is a mesh screen placed above the boiling water and steam is allowed to pass through the plant matter picking up any oils within and become condensed in a serpentine or jacketed condenser, oil being lighter than water floats above the water leaving the ess…

Hi all I'm looking to make an extract, by soaking in iso alochol and then evaporating. Has anyone done this? I was thinking of getting 100% iso from bunnings, but before doing so wanted to check if it was the right stuff and if it is safe. Thanks to anyone who can help. cheers.

hi to all, we have been experimenting, with the fine dust, at the top, & or bottom, of our electric mull-o-matic's, we have made a couple of cakes, which we referr to, as cardiac cakes, as they tend to rock ya. hey guys could someone plz give us a hand with what butanes can be used, all the oils ive tried extracting have gone dark black too dark green,i assume its from impuritis in butane..what brands should be used in aus, as i dunno where to look for ventti and herd ventii gives of black smoke, and cannot find macquarie anywhere?? could someone plz lead me in the right directions cheers..

I have a honeybee butane extractor and I'm gonna use the honey oil to make cannabutter and then cook with it, but i was wondering if i should just do the bho directly into a pyrex measuring cup of melted butter and save some time. my only concern was if the butane would evaporate all the way and I wouldnt get food poisoning opinons/comments?

Has anybody tried different herbs in their tinctures like clary sage,kava,chile or some of the pain relievers like white willow bark? Don't know how they would mix but would guess they're all herbs! Any chance of getting a sticky with peoples comments on different strains of MJ,there effects on people(pain relief,sleep,high,other helpfull points or down side)to help with what to purchase and what to ask for as there seems to be a lot of difference? I have run across some honey which is about as good as it gets. I heard that they use a method similar to this. Extract using butane into a Pyrex brownie dish. Must have a depth of 1.5 or 2 inches in the baking dish for this to work. Then place a damp (wet?) cheesecloth on top of the extract and put in deep freezer for 2 days. When removed from freezer lift off the cheesecloth. It has a wax like substance with little points(like Bart Simpson's hair) up to about 1/2 inch long. his is darker than the oil left and is mostly impurities left by solvent residues etc. Has anyone else heard of/tried this or similar method. Hey guys, im attempting my first bho tonight and i wanted to make sure my contraption will work. I'm using a half 8er of dank buds ground up, and 25grams of colibri butane. heres some pics of my extractor. any opinions? will this work?
