Cannabis Grow Rooms

Hey guys Was looking at bunnings the other day, and the have these bathroom fans that are centrifugal and claim to move 200m3/hour out of a 4 inch duct-hole. looks similar to that http://www.universalfans.com.au/univ_images/exh_03_ceiling/pop_ups/Exhaust_body.gif Want to run this just as a cooltube exhaust, with the total length being no more than 2m at the absolute maximum. Im choosing this cause its cheap, easy to install, VERY QUIET and readily available. Any thoughts?

Just a small 'personal space', 2 actually. I took some cuttings and threw them in some dirt. Of seven cuttings, in a pot of dirt in a cupboard, 2 have taken well, 1 took a while but looks to be coming along and 1 seems to be barely hanging in but viable. (I just don't get why people think such is hard, but I digress) The idea is to have 'Area 1' for clone/veg (18/6) and 'Area 2' for bud (12/12). Not really interested in overcomplicating things with nute solutions, fancy mediums and such, been there _many_ years ago, reasonably successfully. More interested in (basically) dirt in a pot. Is anyone familiar with the multiple lamp fluro fittings available? See the image of a 4lamp one if i can get it happening... this is just a 4 lamp model but i recently saw a 8lamp model on ebay for 300 USD that looked real flash (and fucking pricey). I bought a new "ready to grow " ballast from sun systems on ebay for 120 including shipping(1000w hps).It didnt come with a wiring diagram so i called sun system and the tech guy sat on the phone and talked me through the wiring which took literally less the ten minutes.it fired right up.he also told me how to make a switchable ballast which is also very easy.$120 and all you need is a housing!!DO IT!!! fOR THE RECORD HE SAID 1000W SWITCHABLE BALLAST NO PROBLEM,STAY AWAY FROM 400W SWITCHABLE(DIFFERENT VOLTAGE OR SOMETHING,A LITTLE TECHNACALE)

hey guys just wanna double check, my digi ballast won't run both types of lights so i've got an MH retro.. and now need a ballast for it. obviously i would need to get a standard hps ballast right? here's a link from aussieponics ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/400-HPS-HYDROPONICS...%3A1%7C294%3A50 i can't run a retro from an MH ballast can i? otherwise i get the HPS ballast. just want to clarify before i order it. cheers

Im trying to find someone who sells them..Mogul base socket for a HID bulb. I just want the socket base nothn else ,everywhere i go people tryn to sell em with all the other crap attacthed. I dont want the cord or the shade reflector either. if your unsure as to what im after look at this mogul base socket

I was hoping to get some opinions on whether my setup is gonna work. I got a 600W Lumatek in a 1m x 1m x 1.8m tent with a 150mm centrifugal fan. 1 plant in a 300mm pot with some premium potting mix My concern is that a few people have told me that im running too many watts for the space that i have. There is no light burn or heat stress so far (plant is 30cm tall). My Q is should i try to get a bigger tent or will it be fine if i keep temps under control?
