I'm fairly new to growing and would like some advice on fluro tubes. I have two small plants in a double door cupboard, I am using a twin 2ft tube set up, at the moment I have grow-lux tubes , are they any good and if not what ones should I use? Thanks

I AM GOING TO US A 400WTT SHOULD I GO TO BUNNNINGS AND GET AN EXAULST FAN........................OR WHOULD I GET A TWEENTY DOLLAR 1 FT BY 1 FT. NORMAL FAN...................FROM THE PAWN SHOP DOES THE VENTELATION REALLY MATTER WHAT SORT OF FAN I USE?

hello how long in a 24hr period should i be running my light at the grow stage and when is it a good time to start shorting that time i am only at 2 weeks now and currently running 16 hr days thanks

Hi Guys, My plants are now 3.5 weeks into flower and looking great! I have a lot of extra fluro tubes lying around, is it worth setting them up to get extra light on the plants? Will this increase my yield? Cheers dwyndorf

sorry i dont have any pics to show but my babies are all starting to wilter and die off and i think it has something to do with my globe as everything else is in good order :scratchin anyways the newer leaves are starting to burn at the tips and as they become the lower leaves they are dying off... im growing in a wardrobe about 4ft long x 1.5ft wide x 6ft high and am using a 400watt hps that i got off a friend of a friend im growing in soil, have 1 door open usually for the entire time the light is on, have a 40cm fan blowing over the plants and its the ducks offspring that are burning at the tips but all my other strains are still turning yellow and dying off…

Hi all, Im just new and this is my first post so bear with me. Ok, so i'm attempting to grow in my closet in a house with parents and younger brothers and sisters. I've managed to work out a way to keep everything completely steath except for one factor. Im concerned that the fan i use is going to make enough noise for someone to notice in other rooms in close proximity at night or other silent times. Are there such things as silent fan?? that make no humming noise at all.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. George.

Hi there, i have 4 plants under a 400W HID in a cupboard, only about 3 weeks old. i have really good exhaust fan from hydro shop and a little desk fan blowing through a hole in the cupboard as my intake... they are about 4-5ft away from the light, i have done this bc i could see the leaves getting a bit scorched from the heat, should i get something more so that i can have the light closer to the plants?? thanks guys...

gidday fellas, After much studying ive decided to build and indoor hydro setup, and was wondering if it is worth me fitting some clear plastic to the flat roof. I have a 400watta which would have to be shaded in a way not to let to much light out through the skylight, I dont really want to have to cover it each night. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

well you talked me into going for a 400w HID which i have bought and will pick up soon. it is going into a cupboard maybe 120cm wide x 40cm deep x 200cm tall, will it be too hot for the wooden space? i have never grown indoor before.... thanks again
