Grow your own hemp industry By Andy Parks andyp@echonews.com The Northern Rivers Echo http://www.echonews.com/index.php?page=New...4&issue=375 Hemp researchers and growers Keith Bolton (pictured with a trial hemp crop) and Klara Marosszeky (pictured with bricks made from hemp masonry) are excited about the potential for a hemp industry on the Northern Rivers. China’s insatiable demand for iron ore has been the basis for Western Australia’s booming export industry, but another natural resource has been making its way to the East. According to Nimbin-based hemp researcher and grower Klara Marosszeky, a Western Australian hemp grower is exporting all of his crop to…

Hey all, I'm about to head up from Victoria to NSW over Christmas and am just wondering how widespread roadside drug testing is up there? I know you've got it there, but am not sure if it's every single booze bus like it is down here now? Also they say it only detects THC for 'several hours following administration' but I dunno... is 24 hours enough room to leave? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks, any info much appreciated!

People can now apply for a NSW Department of Primary Industries licence to grow hemp on a commercial scale. Innovative Whitton farmers Tim and Roger Commins have trialled the fibrous crop and are investigating going commercial. One in 10 teens hallucinate - study 6 December 2008 http://www.skynews.com.au/health/article.aspx?id=284468 Almost one in 10 Australian teens say they have hallucinations, and those from broken homes are among the hardest hit. Young cannabis users also dominate the 8.4 per cent of teens who say they either see or hear 'things that other people think aren't there'. But the findings do not mean the same teenagers will go on to suffer a mental illness in adulthood, the Queensland-based researchers behind the study say. 'Clearly, most adolescents in this study who experience hallucinations will not subsequently develop a psychotic disorder,' the authors write in the…

Hi folks Im sorry I cant elaborate on this some more but I just heard that South Australian police are watching hydro shops and taking car registration numbers and will use those to raid houses. Please stay away from your local store till the shit blows over. Fuck knuckle Mike Rann announced that unless you have a legitimate reason (you have to prove in in court) for having any hydro equipment you will face a 10k fine and lengthy jail sentences. No word which shops are being watched but this is sure to hit the media to show fuckknuckle rann is tough on drugs and drug growers (who he says only peddle to kids) Yes, from a very good source Peace and stay safe

Some excerpts of the transcripts. Lightning is accused M.P. Littlbit is Accused E.P. Persecutor is Mr C. It is a real eye opener to the state of law in Australia. HER HONOUR: I am obliged at the end of the trial to instruct the jury as to the law which it must apply to its deliberations. If I feel, or if my decision is, that what you have to say about the constitution, international covenants and treaties and human rights legislation is not correct at law, I will not instruct the jury to consider it. I will in fact tell the jury that that is not a matter that they should consider. The jury is not here to decide the law. The jury here is h…
