Stumbled across this article that's a continuing serial and so obviously anti-cannabis and completely tailored for reefer madness with a bit of everything thrown into the mix. Anyway thought you would all like to check out some reefer madness at its finest. Author: Kieran Moran Date: 17/05/2010 Source: Gladstone Observer Copyright: © APN News & Media Ltd 2010.

northernstar What a load of bull, Queensland cops were claiming the same thing with every drug bust leading up to schoolies, typical press release spin. I spose they will try to use this to justify their hardline attitude at MG

http://www.canberratimes.com.au/news/local...on/1812669.aspx Lights, camera, police action DAVID STOCKMAN 26 Apr, 2010 08:52 AM A marijuana grower purportedly from Canberra has posted videos on YouTube of his efforts to grow the drug under artificial lights in his home. Police are examining the footage from seven short videos that include basic tips and progress of the illegal activity. The videos include intermittent narration from a man, whose only appearance on camera is his hand reaching for the plant. Police are investigating the videos and were set to contact administrators at YouTube to find out the origins of the video and about taking the items d…

http://www.watoday.com.au/national/human-r...00418-smng.html As one of the only developed countries without a human rights act or 'Bill of Rights', what a shame this has been rejected despite the findings of a report it commissioned last year. Of course, the main problems with them introducing a bill as such, would be their 'stop and search' and 'anti-bikie' laws will be royally screwed over. But so be it. why take away the freedoms of many to catch maybe a few? Another case of the government turning us all into 'sheep', doing whatever they say and want us to do.

COMMENT: Hopefully he gets decent representation and can prove this sort of trade has been going on before these laws were even thought of.* Northern Territory police have seized 16 kilograms of kava that was en route to a remote island community. A well respected 56-year-old Aboriginal elder was arrested in relation to the haul. Police from Ramingining in Arnhem Land stopped a Toyota landcruiser at Barge Landing Road on Good Friday. About 16kgs of kava were found, as well as a small amount of cannabis, a police spokeswoman said. "The kava had a street value of $16,000 and was headed for Milingimbi Island before it was intercepted by police," she said in a sta…

"ARGUABLY the tallest cannabis plants found in suburban Queensland were seized in a Chermside backyard. About 50 of the huge plants were found on Monday, some up to 4.5m tall. To the surprise of police who raided the property, no attempts had been made to conceal the drugs from neighbours or pedestrians peering down the side of the house. "I've never seen a crop this size and this quality in suburban Queensland," former Drugs Squad officer Det Insp Graham Clark said from the scene. "We estimate at this stage there's a quarter to half-a-million dollars (of cannabis). They're very well attended plants." Police swooped on the Mylne St home in the morning and took a…

http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/lifestyle/...00328-r59n.html This shit is becoming laughable. What is cannabis poisoning? I don't think its even possible to poison yourself with cannabis; it being a drug of mind boggling low toxicity. Can anyone tell me what exactly are these older users being treated for? The article only tell us it's cannabis use! wtf? Is this a new medical condition?
