http://www.starnewsgroup.com.au/star/sunshne-ardeer-albion/372/story/155441.html Grow houses in Melbourne are multiplying fast. Even expensive classy houses are being used. Normal gung ho response from police but they seem to be admitting its out of their control. Cops are lazy slobs. They only catch the idiots who don't cover their windows or use ionisers. With so many people growing ofcourse they will catch the odd sloppy gardener.

http://www.heraldsun...g-1226506602043 Police came across 18 plants and saved them from flames. Now they'll either be smoked by cops later or burned in a deliberate government fire. I expect there will be a few bush crops destroyed. They are all over the place. I have often stumbled across other grows looking for a spot to start my own. More often its just the equipment they leave behind though.

A FATHER-of-nine's plea for a heavier jail sentence to properly recognise his achievement in growing one of Australia's largest cannabis crops has fallen on deaf ears. Michael Bennett Gardner Sr, 58, voiced his outrage in Brisbane's Court of Appeal over the 13-year sentence he was handed for growing 3.5 tonnes of cannabis with an estimated street value of almost $70 million. Gardner was of the opinion that his effort in raising a record-breaking crop should have yielded him a jail term of at least 20-years. Gardner, an anti-abortion campaigner who represented himself in court earlier this weekwearing a T-shirt with the slogan "Abortion is Killing", is among the few Queen…

VICTORIA Police has seized marijuana valued at $19 million in an operation involving raids on at least one property each day for almost seven weeks. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in hydroponic equipment was found in houses capable of producing $500,000 worth of marijuana every three months in new outer-suburban estates. Vietnamese crime families are believed to have spent millions of dollars buying many of the 47 houses that were raided. Police say the move away from renting property for grow houses indicates the financial clout of those behind the trade. Many of the houses were expected to be transformed back to rental properties after less than a year, giving drug ki…
