Nerang police, acting on a Crime Stoppers tip-off, raided the home in The Domain about 7.15am. The Government's aim is to curb the trade in very strong cannabis and have the courts treat amphetamine use and production as seriously as the most serious of illicit drugs - heroin. Hemp Resources has secured a contract to supply Australian grown hemp to Hong Kong after successful trial plantings in the great southern. The company is behind plans to set up Australia's first industrial hemp farm and eventually wants to create hemp paper and packaging.
