A LIVER transplant saved Larry Hagman when doctors gave him six months to live. But after going back to his old drinking ways, the former Dallas star says he doesn't deserve a second chance. The 72-year-old star, who played scheming oil baron JR Ewing in the 1980s soap, has developed life-threatening problems with his replacement liver. He ruled out being given yet another one, as he is unwilling to deprive anyone else who might need it. "I wouldn't have it even if it meant I had another 20 years," he said. "It doesn't scare me. You are going to die eventually anyhow." Hagman had a liver transplant in 1995 after his own was riddled with cirrhosis and cancer. Do…

HYDROPONIC equipment suppliers are readily offering advice on how to grow cannabis and methods to avoid being caught, an Advertiser investigation has found. A visit to 15 random Adelaide hydroponic equipment suppliers in the past week has uncovered the practice, with everything from prices to instructions and diagrams on how to set-up a clandestine drug laboratory to interested buyers. One shop even offered to provide cannabis seeds "in secret" if hydroponic equipment was bought. All shops recommended specialist equipment needed to create an elaborate secret set-up, including water pumps, pipes, nutrients to help with cultivation, aeration fans, insulation and large…

Hello, I am the main administrator of www.atsipusk.lt. www.atsipusk.lt is one of two lithuanian (Lithuania is a small country near the Baltic Sea) websites about cannabis, marihuana, it's culture and employment in all spheres of life. The circumstances took an unfavourable turn, and now, inspired by corrupted news media, the law structures of Lithuania started to make repressions against us. The other webpage (www.legalus.net) has already been forced to shut down. That's why we are asking you to temporarily lend us some webspace (at least 30MB) and, by doing this, help us to survive this uneasy period. Otherwise, the stoners of Lithuania will be left without any source …

By GRAHAME ARMSTRONG March 21, 2004 NEW cannabis laws which come into effect tomorrow will increase the risk of physical and mental health problems for young people, Opposition Leader Colin Barnett claims. Mr Barnett said the changes ? making the possession of up to 30g of the drug and the cultivation of up to two plants punishable by fine or an education session ? sent the worst possible message to the community that some cannabis was OK. "There is clear scientific evidence that cannabis use is linked with depression and anxiety in youths and an increased risk of psychotic disorders such as paranoia, manic depression and schizophrenia," he said. "Physical healt…
