Cannabis 'reduces surgery pain' Cannabis drugs could help with pain after operations A cannabis plant extract provides pain relief for patients after major surgery, research has shown. An Imperial College London team tested the extract - Cannador - on 65 patients after surgery such as knee replacements and found it helped manage pain. ONE of Australia's largest drug syndicates, suspected of producing tonnes of high-grade marijuana every year, has been smashed, with arrests and raids across north Queensland last night. Monday May 29, 05:28 PM Customs officers at Melbourne Airport have discovered cannabis resin hidden in play dough containers. It was discovered during air cargo examinations on May 23, when Customs opened a package from India, which had been declared as "baby toys".
