Algerian police seize 2.6 tonnes of cannabis ALGER (AFP) — Algerian police have seized 2.6 tonnes of cannabis from an inflatable dinghy off Sbiaat beach near Ain Temouchent in the far northwest, a police statement said Monday. The drugs were hidden in several packets labelled KS2009, according to the police statement quoted by the APS news agency. Hey folks Six thousand plants in the forest in Police have seized drugs and assets with a value of about $15 million as part of a six month crack down on cannabis in the South West of Western Australia. Police in Busselton have seized more than 6,000 cannabis plants. Most were growing in state forest. Three people were charged this week with possession and cultivation offences. Detective Sergeant Paul Ford says the seizures will make a significant dent in the South West drug market. Seems like a risk not worth taking if its going to expose your gear as surely the margins would not be that tight in a operation of this scale. I guess they're just a bit too greedy for their own good.
