In March 1999 a man living in Kandos (near Mudgee in NSW, Australia ) received a bill for his as yet unused gas line stating that he owed $0.00. He ignored it and threw it away. In April he received another bill and threw that one away too. The following month the gas company sent him a very nasty note stating that they were going to cancel his gas line if he didn't send them $0.00 by return mail. He called them, talked to them, and they said it was a computer error and they would take care of it. This is not a news story as such. But more of a reminder how the Queensland Police Service has one lot of standards for civilians in the State of Queenland 'n a different rule book for themselves. Our QPS is that good. It apears they don't require Random Drug Testing. It's a pity the rest of the public don't agree with them. But then again civilians are probably just ticked off that they can be subjected to drug testing in the workplace and on our roads. And yet officers of the law get to slip through the net, time and time again. Poll results aquired from Gold Coast Bulletin
