Country music singer Willie Nelson has been arrested in Texas on suspicion of drug possession. The singer's tour bus was pulled over by Border Patrol police at a Sierra Blanca checkpoint at around 9am (local time) on Friday and a subsequent search of the vehicle reportedly turned up 170 grams of marijuana. The 77-year-old was booked in Hudspeth County Jail and posted $2500 bail, according to TMZ.com. Nelson had been on his way from California to Austin when he was busted. Not a hard bust for a lazy copper! Of course willie has mull on him....DUH!!!

The public should decide if illicit drugs should be made legal, one of Victoria's most senior policeman says. The Herald Sun newspaper reports that Victoria Police Deputy Commissioner Sir Ken Jones made the comments at a conference on organised crime in Melbourne.
