Hi guys, I am just about to harvest some outdoor plants and plan to dry them in a tent with a filter. I want to use this tent in the future for indoor grows eventually so I want a good quality tent. Can anybody recommend a good hydroponics site to buy one off or a suitable brand?....it will eventually house a 600w HPS . What about the security issues of buying off these sites or eBay? Any advice would be really appreciated

Hi everyone first time growing and first time posting. This will be my first grow and would like some help/ideas in which way to go with is I have put power to it I was planing on using the freezer section for cloning and growing out seeds what lights should I use in there? and what fans also need some sort of vent in there and carbon filter? for the main bottom section I was going to go a DWC I think I have that part down pat Ive done a heap of reading on it and watched a shit load of you tube video's. bat again what type of lighting should I use? and what fans should I use? Can anyone recommend a product that would cover the smell of weed? I will be using a carbon filter but on the off chance that the neighbours come around/inlaws or what ever is there anything that we could open up to give the house a nice smelling odour and completely cover any traces of weed/ smelly feet that may be flying about?

Hi all, I thought that I'd mention this in case it gives other people good ideas. I found an old Samsung Galaxy S (version 1) phone laying around the house and used it as a remote webcam in the grow room that can be used for security, time lapse photography, whatever. You can also access the pictures across the home network or even internet if you know how to configure your home router/modem too. The general idea will work with any modern smartphone really. Hi All my outdoor deck grow isn't going well. Plants are already flowering 7 weeks in, 5-6th node. Unfortunately the deck only receives direct sunlight until about 12:30pm, thereafter the sun is behind the house so they are shaded. Coupled with the fact that I'm now paranoid about smells and an extremely nosey neighbour, I'm a 1st timer and I didnt really put enough thought into these factors. Here's a step by step to make your own fan silencer. It will cost you around a tenth of a bought one, while recycling some of your grow room clutter. Here's a list of what you need, four and six inch ducting, tapered pots or four to six inch adaptors, duct tape, cable ties and perlite. Now to construct. Take the four inch ducting, and tape a pot or adaptor to each end. Now slide the six inch duct over the top, and seal at one end. Pulling the four inch duct through the six, proceed to fill the cavity with perlite. Fill completely, packing as tightly as possible, and seal at the other end. Hey guys, Just made a search for this topic and found nothing. Wondering if anyone has had any experience with the security revolving around the Smart Meter roll out in Vic? Im assuming that the same deal applies here , such as: The Authority's needing a 'tip off' etc to look into your usage. Knowing that these meters are remotely read suggest's the possibility of simple algorithm's being applied to 'suspicious' usage... Any thought's? Concerned

So I caught up with a mate who I aint seen in some time. Turns out he is working for "****** energy" as a meter reader. My first questions were about electricity use and grow houses. He basically said he can tell when a house is growing hydro by its size/look and electricity usage. He does not report it to his boss or anyone else. Said the company dont care a bit as long as you pay. But if it looks like the meter box has been tampered with or your stealing electricity watch the fuck out! They send out an inspector and next you will have the cops all over you. Said the job is cruisy apart from dogs attacking him.

Hey all, been fucking around in my head, with stealth set-ups. Came up with a couple of ideas, the first is suitable for clones or 1 small bush. Do you know any Drummers? Pinch his bass drum. You can undo the lugs, remove a skin, line with panda, put in an 80w cfl, and the best bit, drum skins have a four inch (approx) hole in them, perfect for fans/ducts. Because of the shape, you can also tie the plant down alot more than in a conventional stealth box:-) This is just an idea, but I do have a kit sitting there, maybe some fun coming up? Anyone know where I can get a small carbon filter from for a small stealth grow? Max of six plants I would be growing for personal use.. I also would like suggestions on med strains for insomnia, stress. Also to mellow out as I can't sit still for 5 mins which is prob part of the insomnia.. Im also doing 5 days a week of mma martial arts after work n still can't sleep! I refuse to take Valium which doc prescribed.
