The pensioners, nicknamed the "Geritol Gang" by German police after an arthritis drug, face up to 15 years in jail if found guilty of subjecting German-American James Amburn to the alleged four-day ordeal. Two of them are said to have hit him with a Zimmer frame outside his home in Speyer, western Germany, before he was bound with duct tape, bundled into the boot of an Audi A8 and driven 300 miles to a home on the shores of a popular holiday lake in B…

'People-person' brain area found http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/8055296.stm Scientists say they have located the brain areas that may determine how sociable a person is. Warm, sentimental people tend to have more brain tissue in the outer strip of the brain just above the eyes and in a structure deep in the brain's centre. These are the same zones that allow us to enjoy chocolate and sex, the Cambridge University experts report in the European Journal of Neuroscience. The work suggests that some people may get a similar buzz from being sociable. It could also lead to new insights into psychiatric disorders where difficulties in …

I know it's not canna related. But people with a terminal illness that have wanted to end their suffering have faced similar persecution as us cannabis consumers for as long as i can remember. If your similar to myself and have witnessed a loved ones passing due a terminal illness, you'd know this is just as much as a hot topic as all things canna related. Good to see some common sense working it's way back into the system. Here's hoping the trend continues.. Source: www.news.com.au/couriermail

R.I.P. Rik Clay 1982-2008 My sincere sympathy to his family and friends. In a dramatic ending of a weird story. Rik Clay, a young amazing researcher into conspiracy, symbolism and synchromysticism (his blog was named The Cosmic Mind) apparently took his own life after an adrenal breakdown. (The source is the Icke forum, and his death is confirmed through a facebook group though there is no mention of suicide there, the story seems to be confirmed now - update.) After doing a must-hear Red Ice Creations interview http://www.redicecreations.com/radio/2008/...RICR-080612.php Rik's blog suddenly was deleted and he suffered an adrenal breakdown because of all the atten…
