Heart patients could have problems, even though cannabis generally relieves stress, dilates the arteries, and in general lowers the diastolic pressure. What options are there for medical usage?
Hello all, just had a chat with my father about a issue that might have some relevance here, but even with a lot of google kung fu I havent been able to find exactly the answer that i'm after, so i'll ask here. I got his permission to do so Dont Worry Bit of background: (I cant include many specifics, relating to his identity, just yet anyway) My dad is a ex-military serviceman with medically diagnosed severe PTSD. By that I mean that he, when not medicated, can be incredibly irrational, violent and aggressive, as many PTSD sufferers can be when re-integrated into society. To treat this aggression (and subsequent depression), he has been medically treated with jus…

Aussie Grow, What Kind Of Green Is This?
Forgive me as Im new here.. But i've had a share of some Aussie stuff over the past 6 months or so.. And i've only come across 1 strain recently that helps with Pain relief. I think its Hydro.. When doing Joints straight no spinner it hits really hard compared to the other stuff.. My Muscles relax after about 15-20 minutes and If I smoke at Night before bed I find that the effects from half or 1 joint last throughout the day. Its somewhat leafy bud, with alot of white crystal like stuff on the surface. Barely has those browny/red hairs from other local stuff. Smells of a fruity green tea smell. Not too dank Would this be called Indica? The reason I ask is I'd like…

Medicinal And Legal Questions
Hope I'm posting this in the right section. I was just wondering if somebody could explain to me if medicinal marijuana is actually legal in Australia (More so WA). I've heard so many mixed responses (and I did search and couldn't find straight answer). If so, what are the conditions that cannabis is used to help relieve the symptoms of or cure? I have had a terribly sore back for months now from a motorcycle accident and the only thing that stops the pain is.. you guessed it. Would I be eligible for medical marijuana? Sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn't find anything relevant.

Looking For Good Bush Variety
Where do I start looking here? I'm after an outdoors variety to grow in Queensland. After looking over the forums I'm uncertain where to begin. The guide is a bit lengthy and confusing as I'm new to this having mostly used bag seed in the past. I'm interested in aquiring something strong and popular to entertain visitors. Couchlock is ok but I prefer something low on paranoia and happy inducing. Sorry but I wasn't certain where to post this topic. All of the varieties sound good so I'm a bit overwhelmed and would welcome advice from experienced tokers. I've been smoking the same stuff for years and want to try something new.

Complementary Medicines Can Save Youdanny Rose, Medical Writer, Aap
September 13, 2010, 1:26 pm Complementary medicines offer the potential to shave millions of dollars from the nation's burgeoning health costs, an economic analysis shows. A study by Access Economics has compared the costs and health benefits of complementary as well as conventional treatments for a range of common ailments, from depression to heart disease and back pain. It found cases where a complementary medicine carried a significant health benefit for a fraction of the cost of conventional treatments, or it could pose a cost effective and beneficial add-on. Sativex
http://www.fiercebiotech.com/forward/emailref/84299 Was interested to read Sativex has finally got the green light in Britain. Not sure where I stand on this one. Way I'm seeing it, big pharma = big money; prohibition = big money. It's almost like they are legalising without having to legalise. Cake and eating it too kinda situation. But then there's a part of me that thinks thank fk some people in Britain at least will be able to access some relief derived from the great plant, even if big pharma is involved.

Spasms/ MS/ Spinal Treatment
Hi Crew, Thanks for letting me join this wonderful website I am fairly new to this topic (in a way ) and i'm thinking about using pot to treat myself and make my life a bit easier. Basically i broke my back a few years back and resulted in me being in a wheelchair, but even those i lost control over my lower half i still get bad muscle spasm. When i say muscle spasm i don't mean 'tightness' it's more like chest muscle fits that throw me out of the chair or legs kicking up in bed and kneeing myself in the head type spasms. Leaving the hospital i was on so much anti-spasm medication that i was pretty much a zombie, and i also got the great news that the medication …
