Pain specialists ban medicinal cannabis
This article https://www.smh.com.au/national/medicinal-cannabis-blacklisted-by-australian-pain-specialists-20210322-p57cyw.html looked a little concerning. Reading through the report though I found this gem that the SMH article neglected to mention. “While IASP cannot endorse the general use of cannabinoids for treatment of pain at this time, we do not wish to dismiss the lived experiences of people with pain who have found benefit from their use,” said Andrew Rice, Professor of Pain Research, Department of Surgery and Cancer, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London and chair of the IASP’s Presidential Task Force on Cannabis and Cannabinoid Analgesia. “This is…

THC oil vs Dried Flower
I've recently been prescribed thc oil after over a decade of smoking bud, mostly for recreational purposes but also for the medicinal benefits. It is Champlain, THC 20.90MG and although I prescribed 0.1 ml per dose, I take 0.9. I've noticed it does take the edge off pain, but I dont get high from it, or have a pleasant buzz as I do with bud. Its more of a dazed, strange feeling. I'm new to getting it legally and would like to switch from the oil to the bud but do not know how to ask or the right time to ask to switch. Does anyone on here get an actual high from the oil? If so, how much does one need to take?

Stage 4 cancer and I think I've been ripped off.
Hi there everyone! I feel bad about writing this but I'm at a loss as what else to do. I have stage 4 cervical cancer and I wanted to buy RSO as I'm not 'yanno'ed' and because I won't 'yanno' they're refusing to offer me treatment or debulk/ remove the cancer until I'm..'yanno'ed'. That leads me to stumbling on a website based here in OZ that sells RSO....you can probs guess where this is heading...right? I have NEVER been in this community before and I have never brought product and I have NEVER brought bitcoin or used bitcoin to buy anything ever and I did both to buy the advertised RSO. Tolerance
Hey peeps, I use to smoke about a half oz per week and in the end I basically never felt like I was getting that stoned.. I stopped smoking for a bit over 6 months. The past month or two I’ve been smoking 1-2 cones on a Friday and Saturday night. I get absolutely ripped, chinese eyes, laughing fits, super relaxed and all that good stuff . My question is, will I slowly gain tolerance if I just keep it to the 1-2 cones? Cause I don’t want to gain tolerance and lose those affects. I’ve considered only smoking on a Saturday night just to keep the tolerance as low as possible! Cheers ✌️ Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Tincture vs Smoking Flower
I’ve been smoking .1g of flower per night for the last year or so to help with the side effects of my ADHD medication I take during the morning. I’ve had to back surgeries and it helps tremendously with pain. It also really helps me focus my attention and has helped me improve my musical performance due to my improved ability to practice for longer periods during the evening. I’ve recent had access to an alcohol tincture (2:1 THC:CBD). When I tried 5drops under the tongue, I got the same feeling from the usual .1g of dried flower. 5ml of tincture at a time is around $220. Which is around 20days worth. However 14g of flower @~$200 is significantly more cost effective…

PTSD advice please
I was brought up in an abusive home with a father who abused his two boys and I started smoking weed when I was 17. I stopped when I met my wife aged 21. After I stopped I immediately (within the month) started to get migraine headaches. Every week I would get two or three, couldn’t work or see, and pain was incredible. Started to want to die and went to endless medical appointments. To cut a long story short I a, 50 next week and still get them. Doctor just diagnosed me as having chronic depression. He said it was off scale 10/10. I’ve been taking anti depressants but it leaves with massive ED so no sex with wife. It’s a huge thing to give up. I still get headaches or mi…

Insomnia and alternatives to prescription medical cannabis
Good evening I have a question after a few decades of shift work I have developed an debilitating insomnia health issue which the doctors are classifying as a major morbidity issue to my health. I refuse to take chemical sleeping tablets after the first week due to them causing other medical problems as well as they make me feel very sick in the morning. This year I have managed to obtain a medical prescription through a local doctor who is specialist in this field, apart from the shocking cost of the medication most nights I am still suffering. I don't suffer from any mental health and medical issues but did use the devils drink "scotch" to assist for many years "I hav…
