I have just completed a grow, 2 plants coco in pots hand watering. measuring 1ml here 3ml there gets........... So I have seen in vids where a resevior is made up and plants are hand watered sounds like a good idea if you have a quite few plants. So can I make up a resevoir of nutes and use it over 3 feeds (max 14days est.) I plan to use an air stone to airate the nutes if it can be done. Cheers.

Well nearly in to the third week of flowering and am looking at using something like monsta bud or pk 13/14. I use Advanced Nutes Grow Micro Bloom 3 part with a bit of added Mg and Ca in the form of Epsom salt and dolomite lime. Growing in straight coco to ec meter and ph with liquid drops. Can I change the ratio instead of 1-1-1 G-M-B have 1-2-3 G-M-B so less N more P K. Anyway comments what you use what works for you? Cheers.

Folks I've been reading alot about what people have been doing with COCO as the growing medium on here and it doesn't seem too hard however I googled some of these canna products for use with the COCO medium and it seems as if you need alot of products and testers etc to do it properly?? I don't think I'm really interested in stuffing round with test kits and liquids and buffers just so the damn plants can absorb the nutrients you are feeding them. I only hand water as this works best for me Can you get away with power feed and seasol or other organic nutes in COCO?? Otherwise I think I'll go back to an organic soil mix, which yielded quite well under 400hps

I have used Dutch Fest for years and not much else . While it seems to work well , what do others think ? Would Dutch MASTER be better ? Or what would you suggest as a stand alone Nute ?

I have an old bottle of Ozi-tonic in a box and im not really sure if its that good. Im hoping some people have tried it. What do you think of it? Do you think its usable alongside or after pk 13/14? I was told its good for final stages of flowering but not sure why. Im thinking use pk 13/14 for weeks 3-5 of flowering and ozitonic for last few weeks into flush. Is ozi tonic meant to effect flavour size of buds or what. Also it has gibberillic acid in it which i thought causes hermies.

hi all, am about to go with the family to see my folks interstate and am having to leave my garden...the ones in the ground i hope are going to be able to deal with my absence with lots of mulch and some shade for the xmas time sun, the indoor grow however is a bit of a worry, while i could prob ask a mate to come around and water for me while i'm gone it might lead to bad things and aggravation etc. was in bunnings the other day getting some dead bolts and was looking at garden stuff when i saw these items called water spikes or something similar....it read that it will provide water for up to 3 weeks(which is how long i expect to be away), but was wondering if anybody …

Hey guys, Attempting my first ever grow (outdoors) & trying to keep it simple in soil.. so after doing a lot of reading up I'd decided to go with Searles premium potting mix & the 5 in1, as it has lots of good feedback on here. However not only did my local Bunnings not have it, but when I asked for it the dude said none of the Bunnings stores stock it...?? And this was the soil 'expert' guy, not some teenager. Maybe this is just in Vic? Where do you buy your Searles products from? Any tips would be appreciated! Cheers, Joss.

Hey Guys, Im hoping someone can help. I'm using coco as a medium in a basic run to waste set up, the pH level of the nute is set to 5.5-5.7 but the pH of the run off is a worrying 7.1-7.4! Its towards the end of veg and the leaves are displaying signs of element/s deficiency - (spots &/or speckled bleaching of the leaves and the older leaves are limp/tired looking) which is understandable if the pH at the root zone is so high. I thought flushing would resolve the problem but i flushed her yesterday and run off pH is still 7.2. I must admit that i have been lazy with my flushing because in my experience flushing hasn't been vital until their flowering when i increa…

Ive got about a few plants growin from some bagseed. im going to repot them in a week or two so i mixed up some soil this arvo.. which consisted of: -2kg blood & bone (different than usual, it was yellowy like sawdust sort of) -About 4-5kg potting mix. I didnt have enough so i had to use some old potting mix from another pot. -A couple of hadfulls of coconut fibre -1 spoon of thrive soluable all purpose I dont have a PH meter so how balanced do you think this is? good? it feel quite light and fluffy.
