O.k I know the main thing a cannabis plant need is Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium, but about how much zinc, iron, and those other chemical elements should be in my fertilizer mix, depending on vegetative and fruit stage? Also I would like to know what your ph levels should look like? How much vermiculite, and perlite, should be in the soil mix, also should peat moss be mixed in? I cant remember if it made a difference. Also would a 2.5 gallon bucket be good enough for this project? I wanna get my hands on some BlueCheese, but by me living in Illinois, USA I don't know if it would actually come, or what would be a good site to buy them from, without anyone showing up …

Howdy all I have a question about Plant growth regulators. I rarely use them but want to try it on my shiva skunk. When I have used it Ive found no real increase in yield is this normal? and I usually apply it at the end of week two. So given that i have no height restrictions when is the best time to apply it? Day 1 of flower or later? Also I have Psycho Flower, 2 part (new and improved) and Hulk. Are either of these products superior to the other? Thanks! Please this is not a debate about the use of pgr's.

Howdy all. I was just filling up my sprayer this morning to apply some seasol and it occurred to me the ph would probably have an effect on absorbtion rates. I once heard a story of a council worker applying weed kiler and he reckoned lowering the ph to 4.5 or there abouts he only had to use a third as much to get the desired outcome. I'm figuring that plants naturally take up rain water best through the leaves and it has a ph of 5.2. Just thought Id raise the topic and if anyone has something to add please do. RR

Ive got a sheight load of silica here and haven't been using it because it stuffs up my ph over a 48 hour period and I'm hand watering my plants daily in 10 liter watering cans(I like to keep things unsophisticated). Ive been thinking about using it along with seasol and straight water as part of a fortnight/monthly flushing regime just to get it into the medium. What do people think? Will I see a marked difference using silica?

I am interested to see what is the makeup of the different manufacturers nutriments especially the A & B for flower. e.g. Canna Canadian Express Dutch Master etc. also which manufacturer actually state the ingredients. The reason behind this is to ascertain how much Nutes do we really need to use.

The instructions on the back of the "Canna Boost" bottle say, "in the final 1-2 weeks of flowering, flush with plain water with Cannazym & Canna Boost added. PH adjustment is not critical at this stage" Has anyone tried this? does it make any appreciable difference to quality as opposed to flushing with plain water? At $200 a bottle, I don't want to waste it if I don't have too!

Hi to every1, im kinda new here and have been getting some very valuable informaion off this forum so i would like to say thanks for every1s help thus far... ok so i want to set up a grow and have been weighing up wither to grow hydroponically or with soil. Obviously both have their good and bad points, now ive read alot of peoples posts etc... saying that growing in soil produces a better tasting end product that being one of the pluses of growing in soil yes? but what if i grew hydroponically but using organically produced nutes will i still get a great yield as to growing with normal hydroponic nutes solutioms and will my stash taste better if i use the organic nutes…

Hi, Firstly I'm a newbie to both growing and this forum, so hi. I'm growing under a 600w in soil and my question is - seasol ok to use on plants in flower? If so how do I apply it with the Bloom A&B nutes i'm using from the hydro shop> or do I apply it on it's own? Thanks for any help.

we're not looking to spend an arm and a leg but we bought some soil that was 100% natural but it ended up being like a mixture of dirt and woodchips kinda thing. we're looking for pretty much just plain regular soil, no nutrients or anything because we're adding it all in the water, anybody got any ideas???

I just checked to see if any replies and noticed I spelled my product wrong. It is Grodan. The rest of the message is the same. Thanks everyone. I also purchased the block (slab) to put the cubes on. Seems the blocks are retaining water. Would appreciate any assistance!
