Hey all! I'm new to OS and am a long time grasscity.com member and am looking for some more local knowlege from you veteran growers! I am current thinking of a indoor grow and it will be my first, I am also desiring to go for an indoor soil grow instead of hydro. My question is simple, what nutrients should I use for my clones/seeds - mature plants and finally the mother. I'd prefer to go organic and am limited to online purchasing and bunnings. I'll be purchasing a 600w Hps light and 400w Mh for my lighting if that helps, the strain will be great white. I'm fairly new to this, the reason I'm heading away from hydro is purely it being my first grow. But hey I'm open to …

Hello everyone, just purchased some PK-13 for use now I am in the fifth week of flowering, the directions on the bottle say to use it only for one week and then to discontinue use, however I have heard of people using it right up until the final flush before harvesting .....how does everyone else use it?

Hello all Can anybody recommend the most optimum Ph levels for a hydo system, For Germination, seedlings/cuttings, Vegatation, and flowering! I understand that generally if you have a P h around 7 you can do no wrong BUT i would like to Know the optimum Ph for each stage of growth! Many thanxs MedGrower

G'Day, After a lengthy hiatus i am returning to one of my favorite hobbies. Problem is in the 3 years or so since i last put a plant on i have forgotten a great deal of information. At the moment my little 7 day or so old seedlings have nute burn. I have decided to let them grow and see if they can recover or not. Today I have germed a new batch of seedlings and im looking at starting again correcting the mistakes that i made with the first batch. i have my system up and running but am having trouble with a cheap tds meter from china.Can anyone tell me if i will get away without having to calibrate as no matter how far out it is doesnt it just have to tell me my tds difference from the tap water and nute solution.

I've just started a final flush and was wondering what others do? Do you use reduced nute or no nutes? Do you heat your flush fluid or not? Do you use rain water or tapwater? Do you use a timer on your pump or just constant flow? How often do you change your flush fluid and how long do you flush for?How many days? Just interested Merl1n

Im currently preparing an outdoor grow, Will be purchasing the seeds from BC Bud Depot Now I have a few questions, Price isn't a problem, Now first of all im fairly sure i want to go with organic nutes but can anyone recommend me some organic nutes or their opinions on organic growing, 1. Hi every, I was lucky enough to be given a few bottles of different nuts and things. The one I dont know about is Floralicious Plus, there is an open bottle and another one that is about two thirds full. I am running a run to waste in coco with a layer of clay balls in the bottom. Nine days into 12/12 with the lights (400mh and a 600hps). Getting 30 to 40% run off with the canna coco nuits, cannazym, and Superthrive (got the last two things free as well). Do I use this Flora stuff or not and what does it do? Because it's black stuff I was thinking may be foliar feeding with it. .......Pisslips.....

I went to go to the hydro shop to get some nutes only to find it has move to an area that is a pain to get to via public transport, and remembered some saying that bunningd have hydro nutes so i went had a look see and ended up getting this. This is a one part nute made by Growth Technology Foliage Focus. GT, the site dosent give much info. I will give it a run and see how it fairs. To mix up it says. Weak, 5mil/pl Normal, 7.5mil/pl Strong, 10mil/pl

So I want to use orgainc nutrients in growing scrog style or topping but is it enough to keep them productive in these high yielding methods? I like to grow using natural things & I know that if you use organic nutrients you can not over-feed a plant. I want to use liquid kelp or other mineral powders & soil mixes.

hey guys ive dug up like 50 worms and put them in a 50L barrel in wich im gona put a seedling in around the end of the year.ive put potting mix in it and i herd rabbit poo was good so i put a big cup full in to get them started..what i would like to know is what would u personaly put in a compost to benerfit a plant and what should i avoid.. rabbit poo is highin nitrogen and phosphoras please excuse the spelling thanks guys
