Hi guys, Just wanted to ask about Killerney peat moss by Amgrow, I am currently using it mixed with perlite and vermiculite for seedlings and early veg. I have recently read though that this particular medium is quite acidic? My plants have been having a few problems with discoloration of leaves (a dark brown / rust colour) on some. Wondering if this could have to do with the acidic nature of the soil? I dont have a ph tester kit atm but will endeavor to get one, just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this. Regards, UC

hey everyone contacted house & garden nutrients regarding some info on a few products (and trying to get some free stuff) told me they are in testing a new product called( cell enhancer ) and if i was using there nutrient they would be happy for me to do some testing and pass on the results also told me they are looking for other test subjects in different part of Australia to also do some testing as all water changes in different regions. apparently this new product stimulates the cells in plants in grow and flower and was told i would freak out at the results.will keep you posted as i have just started using it this week. cheers

Hello everyone, I have been vegging my plants in soil for fair few weeks one of them is 32cm tall and othe rone is 24cm tall. I want to leave them on veg cycle for one more week with nuts that i have been using for a whole cycle (Maxicrop Seaweed Plant Food). My first question is, should I flush the soil a little bit from all the accumulated nutrients from veg cycle, before I switch to flowering cycle? And I also wanted to ask for some recommandations of liquid/(or soluble) flowering nutrients available in Bunnings... Please help me because I have no idea which one i should choose, most of them that are high in Phosphrous are even higher in Nitrogen then.. and there…

hi guys just a quit question is possible to use hydro nutes such as two part nutes for soil?

has anyone ever used cyco flower? bloke at the hydro shop recommended it to me heavily and gave only vague instructions on how to use it. currently doing a re-circulating grow in coco and added 3 mls per litre of solution to the 40 ltr res. this is the vague instruction i was recommended and i stopped all other nutes (normally canna). the bottom leaves are yellowing slowly after 1 week - obviously showing nutrient deficiency. i'm in week 2 and added half strength canna nutes as well as part b cyco flower at 3 mls per litre. just wondering if anyone else has used it? probably wouldn't recommend it so far, i see no difference with the plants unlike pk-13 stuff

While I was doing a bit of research for my grow I thought I'd visit the Canna site to see if there was any more info on their nutes. I stumbled across this nutrient calculator/custom scheduler and found it pretty useful. So for those of you running Canna products here you go canna.com
