I just got back from me local Hydro Shop and he gave me something to test out. I will give it a shot when I get my seeds from the good guys @ BonzaSeeds. I got a 10g sample pack which is the size of maccas sauce/syrup. I have never heard of this company and I'll have a bit of a look on their website. Only just got back so no other info, but here is a link and yas can all check it out yourselves. It says it can do 20 seeds. http://www.baconline.nl/

Hey I got an indoor grow with soil and i need a flowering fertiliser, now ive been reading way to much information and its getting a little overwhelming. Pretty much read that you use PK 13:14 in weeks 4 to 6 of flowering then flush till finish and use a normal flowering nute between weeks 1 to 4 Im currently using seasol and powerfeed from bunnings every 2 weeks diluted and my plants vegging very nicely with it, with powerfeed its an all year round fert but im unsure wether i should switch to a flowering fert only after the switch from 18/6 to 12/12. I would really apreciate some nutes that are good for indoor grows with soil for flowering. Thanks jackc

Hi there, How's it going? Just looking for some advice on the best way to start seedlings. Was going to use Canna terra pro but have read comments about it being too strong to start seedlings off in and getting nutrient burn, some say its ok. Was wondering if anyone has any experience with this, and if true what mix\brand is the best way to start them before transplanting to canna terra? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers

Hi guys, another question from me! I'm just looking into an EC meter but i'm a little confused. My local shop only has one and he want 60 bucks for it and wont budge on price. So I've been checking a couple out on ebay. There seems to be a fair difference between them though, starting from $10 and going to hundreds. I figure there is always an element of you get what you pay for, and quality prob will vary, but are there any other main differences? What is confusing me is the measurement units used and the scales offered. First, most of the cheap ones seem to measure in something called, well I have no idea but it seems to be written as a back-to-front u followed by…

Hi Guys, Just a quick question, I figured Nibbler can prob help me here, he seems to be to coco king, but others may know too! How exactly do I flush coco properly? I am running NF Mega Coco brick with NF Coco A + B in a hand watered run to waste system under a 400w HPS. I had originally planned to flush every week, but after learning how long it take for this stuff to dry out completely, I am re-assessing this. So I've read a fair bit on here so far, I'm watering/feeding to 10-20% run off only when the Coco is fully dry. I have now read I should flush at least right before I switch to flower, then prob every two weeks from there, until the final 1-2 week "starve" f…

Couple of weeks away from my next grow and I really need to ditch the hydro nutes. So I need some soil growers to critique my ideas and give me some ideas. Doesn't need to be organic, I don't have the room or space at the moment to brew teas or compost. Soil Blend: In 5G Smart Pot 60% Debco Gardenia, Camellia & Azalea Superior Soil 15% Vermiculite 15% Seedling Mix 5% Lime 5% Rooster Booster Have a similar mix for my auto's at the moment minus the chicken shit and it works well, the reason I use some seedling mix is when I drop the rock wool in the final pot I prefer the immediate area I plant in to be seedling mix so I don't have any nute burn probs putting you…

I have a question about coco feed regimes I am doing run to waste, running 50lt pots, using nixs mix coco it is a blend. I am wondering how much and often to feed. I have been told to always have 10 to 20% run off, which will mean a lot of water per feed. I am following H&G feed chart and when it comes to using shooting powder I was thinking of changing the feed to recycling satellite system for the 3 weeks, so I don’t need to use 45 packs of the shooting powder. Do you think this is safe

I am looking into buying a digital ph tester . I see plenty of 20-30$ digi ph testers and would just like to know are these accurate enough to test water /nute ph with or are they just not worth the trouble . Cheers Tj

Hey guys Ive spent a great deal of time searching the net on growing info and one thing I couldnt find was side by side test useing H&G roots excelurator vs superthrive vs seasol i use both H&G RE and Superthrive and have finally gotten hold of some superthrive which i used to use but havent been able to find for a while since it is now banned in oz, i have also used seasol in the past on my plants, but use it all the time outside in the garden and on the veggies, i mostly want to test the H&G RE as it so expensive and want to see if its really worth it vs the other 2 vs no additive to find out what works and how well. I will be using Pineapple chunk fro…

I've just transplanted my plants into 10 litre pots. I'm using Canna COGr A+B Nutes specially designed for growing in Coco. It says on the back of the bottle to reach an EC of 1.5, to mix 4ml/litre of tap water. But it didn't say how often I should use it. Do I use this stuff with every water, or just once a week?. Also, how often do I water now?. I watered about 12 hours ago and the Coco on the surface is still damp. How much water do I give them with each watering?

High all, Well I am getting my equipment together for my grow, I have my lights, ventilation/odour control, most of the electrical components and am now looking at substrates and nutrients. I am planning a perpetual grow I am going to start with hand watering (at least the first 2 harvests) to get a feel for the strain. (Eventually I will set this grow up in an ebb and flow system) I was planning on using coco, but I am now thinking of keeping it as simple as possible and sticking with perlite (I have used perlite for all my previous indoor grows, so I already have a good grip on it) I just bought Dutch Master advance grow and bloom 2 parts, Not the best nutrient on the …
