Hi guys, Here's one for anyone that's interested in fully organic greens. There's a new totally organic nutrient now available in Aus called Medi-one. It's a 1 part designed for our favourite plant which comes Dr. Hornby recommended, made by Green Planet. Apparently designed for med use... ...Peace Devil..

Hi all, I keep hearing how great H&G is so thought I'd do a litle research before giving it a go and found on their website they recomend NOT aerating the res.... WTF? Under the FAQ section on their US site they state: How is the nutrient container prepared with House and Garden nutrients? When preparing the nutrient container, fill it two-thirds with water. First add Aqua Flakes A; circulate well and wait 10-15 minutes. Then add Aqua Flakes B; circulate well and wait for 10-15 minutes. Adjust the pH-value of the nutrient with pH- (Down) or pH+ (Up). Add any root, growth or flowering stimulators. Your nutrient mixture is ready to water. Notice: Do NOT add Aqua …

I've transfered the plants into coco, best thing I've done. I'm using a fairly cheap soil ph meter to test the soil and it came in at a touch over 6. To get the most accurate reading should I water with ph corrected water and measure the run off? And if its higher then what went in put a slightly lower ph water next?

In the next coupla weeks there will be a new grow medium coming to Aus called Growstones. It has better water and air retention than expanded clay and perlite and is claimed to outperform other mediums. Its made from expanded/kiln fired recycled glass. It also has readily available silica to help fight that budrot.....sounds pretty good..think i might get me some and try it out....oh...and apparently its replacing hydroton brand of expanded clay which will no longer be available.

Hi all, another question Did a water at 6ph and runoff was 5.1, was wondering why it was so low? And how I can stop it? I've always watered at 5.9-6.1ph. And made sure runoff was correct. Is it because I let the coco dry out too much? My plants look like theyvr got nute lockout as the leaves are light green and yellowing showing all signs of low nutes . Thanks.

Hi all, My seedlings have been in the coco for two weeks and have had very little growth, they are of a healthy green with the first baby leaves a touch yellow. Now the coco they are in I didn't get to the right ph, would that slow them down? If so should I flush them completely with phd water?

Hey all. I am planning on A guerilla grow this outdoor season and I didn't even think of mixing up some soil. Can anyone recommend A pre-brought soil brand or A quick recipe that doesn't need to sit for months. My local landscaping place sell A "garden mix" by the sq metre. I was thinking of asking them the NPK and ph levels as well as the ingredients and just add what I need to this mix. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi All, Has anyone heard of or used these? Seems like a good alternative. http://www.suretogrow.com I contacted them (very friendly) and they said they already have a distributor lined up for Australia and we'll see the products here soon. Always good seeing new products on the market if they make our lives easier. PS - I have no affiliation with STG, just thought I would let some people know.

I was just wondering if anyone else has used the GH flora series in a DWC or RDWC setup. I know alot use H & G and Canna, but need input from users of GH nutes. I've heard before that you need cal mag with the 3 part flora nutes, but the micro contains cal and mag, WTF? Plants seem to be thriving on them anyway. Do I need to add anything else to these nutes? If so what products and when? Note: Also using DM gold zone.

I am unsure if i should be giving straight ph adjusted water in between feeds with coco . So feed with nutes and next feed with just water or nutes /nutes /water etc. Or just feed with nutes . Does feeding nutes every feed lead to nute burn or just means more regular flushing . Cheers Badseed
