Hey everyone, I am at the end of week 4 flowering & have been battling fungus gnat for a little while now, which seems to have taken most of my attention as I failed to notice some small male flowers(only single ones by themselves at nodes usually just under forming buds, there was none on branches) - some of which have opened!! I searched & carefully cut them off, then gave them a good spray of La Femme and moved my light further away as not to burn them. Then I smoked the male flowers!!!!! Its really easy for me to get stoned atm!! So what else should I do - keep cutting off male flowers as I find them?? Cull the plans now & start again?? Or is there …

If the leafs are curling up at there ends, does this mean too many nutes?. Or lack of water. I dleiberatly havn't watered them for 3 days to stimulate root growth etc. Making sure there's a dry period in between.

Hi peole ! Your suggestions would be welcome. The plants are entering week 4 of 15 (guess) flower. I have not watered/feed for a week. were in for 2 days of sunshine before a week of shitty weather again. I know at this stage of the grow cycle the plant switches from N to needing more P & K. I have a recomended nute called "…

Hi, I germinated some seeds, potted them in some coco, then about 5days later the stem on the babies choked, shriveled up. Died. This is something i noticed a while ago when my cuttings died the same way. It seemed pythium+root rot was the cause. So this time i pulled it apart and didnt see much wrong with the roots, although a bit yellow. No sign of rot. So i tested the ppm/EC of the coir it was 1.5-1.6 EC diluted!!! with 100mls of pure water so potencially a good 1.9 - 2.0 EC @ root level. Damn i forgot to flush the coco coir clear before using it. Because Im a bit rusty, what is the shrivelling up of the stem is due to? Could it be something else as well?

Hi all, Have a few babies growin in a mix of expanded clay/rockwool. Have switched em out of my cloning setup 4 days ago and theylook shit. There is a bit of new growth but nothing spectacular however all new growth is pale yellow and scangy lookin. Even the old growth is a bit lifeless and droopy, not pale green though. I have a 1000w light in room 1200mm x 3400mm. Grow area is 1200 x 1200 Nutes are 2 part sensi grow on drip fees. I have just been feeding them when i felt they needed it for about 10-15mins, runs off pretty quickly. I have checked the PH and it seems o.k at 5.8. Picked up a thermometer and my room was 36degrees under the lights. Have added anoth…

Hi team, I am using an autopot system, dutch master advanced nutes, 250W MH about 3 weeks veging. I did let the pH get to 7 about a week ago but have since brought it down to 6. Anyway, the outside edges of the leaves seem to be curling up and the leaves feel a little dry / brittle. I do not think it is a heat problem (has been cool here) and the light is sar enough away. The globe is new! All help appreciated! Cheers

Hello all, I've got a plant problem that has me stumped so far and I'd like some assistance. My White-Skunk plant has "bleached" looking new-growth, the new leaves are not nearly as dark green and lush as the older growth. The symptom started showing itself after I transferred the plants from my 400wMH vet area to my 2x600wHPS flower-box. I originally thought it was light-bleaching, or the fact the plants were transplanted into a larger pot with a coco/perlite mix where the perlite had been washed in a strong oxy-plus solution. Unfortunately it seems I am incorrect, as the problem has been here for well over 2 weeks now and my attempts (flushing, lowering-PH to 6.0) h…

I've been looking through these post to try and work out if I'm over or underwatering my plants. I'm about 2 weeks into my first grow, and all the plants are growing at different rates. Some have taken forever to break through the soil. Whilst others have gone bezerk!. My largest plant has a brown tinge on the very tip of the leave. I didn't worry too much because I genrally freak out to easy and was told to chill. Well I've been trying to chill and now I'm strartin' to freak out. The edge of the leave is starting to go brown. This is only on the largest leaf and at it's etremitys. I don't know if this is from over or underwatering or lack of nutes (haven't added any …

hi does anyone have some pics or a resource of the signs of underwatering? i can find heaps on overwatering but not much on the other? apparently from what i have read the visual signs are quite similar (drooping leaves?) another thing i read is that plants that are overwatered will droop at the tips of the leaves and the stems stay upright? but an underwatered plant will droop both leaves and stems? thanks

major problem! must have turned off the timer on the feedng pump two days ago. had a beautiful big scrog going in veg stage which was going to go 12/12 today. went to check and in the current hot summer temps the rockwool dried out and they have wilted badly! havent taken a pic but its like they were hung out to dry for two days, some of the top leaves are so dry they crumble, ALL leaves on the plant have wilted big time. the roots underneath the rockwool are still ok though. i gave em a massive watering straight away and doubled my watering times also turned off half the lights so that they dont stress any more. my questions are: 1. will they survive. im thinking n…

Hi I'm growing some leiden kush on my balcony here in sydney. I've got 3 plants about 1 foot tall, all have been outside since they were seeds. I just noticed today some brown discolouration on the leaves (see attached photo). Can anyone tell me what this might be and what I can do about it if it's a problem? Nearest pic on this forum I could find was for phosphorus deficiency. I've never added anything to my soil so maybe that's it? thanks sausage
