I've been having a few problems with my first grow in over a decade. Firstly, I didn't drain the pots for the first two weeks, so the roots were soaked. Then, I had an issue where the lights stayed on an extra 6 hours. Two of my Hog's are turning to seed, but one of them was barely budding anyway, presumably I fucked it by not draining them. Now, the other that I thought was looking ok has these bumps all over the leaves. I thought it was the resin starting to form, but on closer inspection they are white-ish bumps coming up. It's not a pest as I checked the underside of the leaves. It looks like a disease. Now also, my AK47 that I thought had survived all this, is …

They're still green and look healthy (to me) but they suddenly started wilting a few days ago. I stuck my finger in the soil and it felt rather dry. I gave them enough water for about 10% to trickle out the bottom. This was 2 days ago and they still look the same. Any advice? I did some research but I'm still not sure what it could be. 18/6 400W temp 15 - 25C rh 30 - 50% ph 6.3 (as of Sunday) They're about 7 weeks from planting the germ'd seeds into the soil. They've had 1 small 1/4 strength dose of nutes but nothing recently. Time to feed maybe?

hi am just wondering if weed that has veged then budded can re veg again if all the leaves have died Had a problem with toxicity and flushed, after repotting the roots have taken hold as was going to pull up a few days ago however wouldnt come out and could tell the roots have taken a hold in the new new pot oh by the way plant is in soil. Anyway all leaves have dryed and died prior to repotting was wondering if a plant can take of again and if there is such a thing as a plant being dormant or is it a rule of thumb that if there is no live leaaves the plant is history.Thanks for any info

Hi all im a new member on here today and im impressed of all info to take in ! Especially having help of other growers. im a first time grower and My plant is about 3ft tall and been doing fine (i`ll try to add pics soon). Im using Formulex nute sol but only weekly ! i have a 250w hps bulb on a drain away system in a 3 by 5ft bedroom closet. It looks healthy enough apart from the rust spots devoloping !!!! At first it was just one or two leaves but now is starting to cover most of plant . I understand it is probably a magnesiun fault but unsure whether its : toxicity or deficiency : ???? "how do i tell"?. Any help …

I just started week 4 of flower, when the flowers are just starting to crank, and one of the timers on one of my lights failed. It stayed on 6.5 hours. How badly will this affect the plants? I'm thinking of changing the cycle and giving them 12 hours of dark from when I turned the other one off, and leaving it on that cycle til the end. It's the only way I can think to minimise the damage. Any other ideas greatly appreciated.

HI PEOPLES THE PICTURED PLANT IS ONE I GOT WICKED BUD OF.AFTER TAKING BUD OF PUT INTO TOTAL DARKNESS FOR 2 DAYS,AND THEN ON TO 18 HOUR LIGHTS. HOWEVER THIS IS WHAT HAS HAPPENED AFTER A MONTH I DO NOT KNOW IF IT IS DUE TO OVER WATERING OR WHAT ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.THANK YOU

Hi guys, Thought I would post this here just in case no one checks out my grow diary for awhile, the more help the better! Am growing L.A Confidential in coco/perlite, handwatering with H&G Coco nutes. First week of H&G nutes started on 0.9EC and ph 5.7 and they seemed to be OK. The next week upped it to 1.6 EC and the ph was adjusted around 5.8 and the bottom fan leaves started yellowing. I was told it was just slight nute burn and should pull up but they havent. Checked this morning and yellowing is worse, plus there are now rust stains all over those yellow leaves. in looking for info on problems I found a table of such and what they may indicate, from someone's growbible I believe. It lists red stems indicating NPK problem. HANG ON!!! Whenever I've heard anyone comment about red stems it's been 'WOW, look at those red stems, THAT'S AWESOME'. I also know my shrubbery looks healthy enough to kick a mule, and it's got red stems galore. Are red stems a problem or not? Does it matter where/what is red?

I have had the seedlings in the first two pics growing from seed for 4 weeks and 5 days now and they are growing soooo slow and i have no idea why.The biggest one is just over an inch high and the other is about an inch.Im growing in a growlush growtent purchased from ozponics on ebay and i have one 250watt hps and one 250watt mh and one 48watt cfl and one 28watt cfl.Also i have 2 X 120mm sunon fans in there for inlet and outlet.They are growing in coco/perlite and i am using 1/4 strength fert and running on 18/6 light times with a timer. got handed some sad plants. Couldnt put them to rest so hv sparked up my old room (after a good cleanup). plants given were white rhinos and 1 bigred. leaves were burnt tips, yellowing which i think is lights too close, they were in coco/perlite, hving grwn in it before the first thing i did was measure runoff, plain tapwater 0 cf in --- 26 cf out! washed out the coco and repotted in calyballs for my bubbler, weak (10cf) noots, au60,rhizotonic (1/4 strength) lets see if i can revive them. Also got given 3 healthier rhinos (clones) but in soil as m8 gaveup on coco (thk god) ph - well cant find by digi so going by liquid tester - looks piss yellow so gather around 6. …

THe "flowers" on my plants were growing well and looking to be big and juicy, but out of the top of the buds there is a new lookin shoot coming out. This is not revert, but a deformaty in the bud. It is happening to all of them. Havent checked my ph but dont know if this would cause it. Instead of the bud having a nice shape oval shape it is sort of pronging at the top........

So my water feed died today for some reason and i couldn't figure out why despite many efforts and a phone call to a friend. I've decided to fill the hydro pot up to the roots and switch to a dwc setup. Only problem is I don't have an air stone and am wondering whether running the open tube from the pump will provide enough oxygen to the roots. It seems to be bubbling away quite well so i'm thinking i can get away with it for a few days at least. Has anyone successfully ran a dwc setup without the fish pump?
