This will be the first grow that I will be undergoing, but I don't plan on having a small yield . As a matter of fact I have been thinking about using the "Sea of Green" method to help me make this larger yield possible. I plan to grow some type of chronic (nothing particularly picked out yet) and also would like around 1 pound off my first crop. My grow space is outdoors and can be as big as I need it to get enough plants to reach a total of around 1 pound yield. I live in Florida and my main reason for starting a grow now is because we are just about to enter summer. Although I have a basic idea of what I would like to do, there is still the issue of what strand woul…

Hey to anyone thats reading this... Im considering growing a plant or two outdoors however, the seeds I got were in the buds from a bag I bought...so im not sure if they're worth using or not, i dont want a seedy crop! Any inpute there? Also seeing as I live in Adelaide I would like to know when the best time to plant outdoors is? I know i should get em started inside, I've got a lil fishtank i can use, but need to know what the best kind of lighting for it would be? Oh & any paticular nutrients i need in the soil? im buying potting mix for em Yeh i think that just about covers all my questions...any help would be much appreciated

OK, I can put up some shade cloth along one side no probs. I'm a bit reticent to do so on the other side as that is where the sun come from and I didn't want to block it. Or would using a 25% shade cloth be OK? What do you guys use to stop prying eyes?

Hey all, First up, I'm a complete weed noob but it sounds like a great hobby. ;-) Am planning to grow 1-2 plants outdoors and have NFI about it. We do have a nice vege garden with herbs growin as well so I 'suspect' that MJ will be happy out there as well. IN SE Qld when's the best time to plant? Of course when's the best time to harvest also? Any links on how to go about this would be great. Also, being a noob what would be a good strain to start with? I'm not looking to become brain-dead or anything so will probably be the odd once a week smoker if you know what I mean, but would still like to 'feel' it working. ;-) Cheers

this happened last year and it became really annoying having to hack down bundles of limbs every few weeks. can anyone suggest a way to stop/train my sativa before it blocks my neighbours drains? this thing is putting on centimetres a week. i tried snipping the main tip last year but it just kept growing up.. any reasonable ideas appreciated - this thing wont flower 'til well into 2007!

I was looking at Gruntus' plant and realised just how much things have changed, how small plants are these days , for obvious reasons I suppose.... Greeat to see good old fashion "plants" getting given the space and elbow room to do their thing by the likes of gruntus and co. I reckon anyway. This isn't my plant, it's a mate's from queit some time back now. In fact, I actually threw the seeds away for this plant not more than 2 weeks ago. Just don't have the place to grow them anymore like this, and they were geting oldish.. anyway. Is it possible to put a bit of video up on the site? Like shot on a standard video camera, maybe ten years ago kinda vintage? I'd real…

I don't know whether to be happy or sad. My beautiful Indica Princess is gone. Just two weeks ago she went from this to thisas all the main bud was removed. And then a couple of days ago the rest of her dissapearedThe bud that remains has been pollinated and will be allowed more time to mature its seed. I look at her now and its just not the same. Sad isn't it! She was a good bag seed. I'll be growing more of her next year I reckon. Anyway back to it. Trim, trim, trim, trim, trim Etc. Uncle Arthur

hi there.......i got a bubblebery plant out doors in a large pot its nearly 6 foot tall and its quite a bushy plant....lots of branches, but they are quite thin, not very stong...... The last couple of weeks the buds have really started to thicken up and a lots of the branches are starting to drop down as the buds are getting too heavy........ i recently just had one thin stake in ht middle of the pot supporting the main stem, but this seems to be useless now........ im just wonder what the best technique to support all these other bramches.......... maybe several stakes on an angle crossing each other so its kinda like an A frame ? any ideas ? Thnaks J…
