Parts Needed: Drill 13mm Garden Hose 13mm T bar hose connector Lighter 1. Cut ya hose to size (will depend on ya pot size) and push the T bar joiner onto each end using the lighter to soften up the ends. 2. Drill ya holes with a small drill bit i used about a 4mm bit and drill like in the pic shows drill on a downward angle so that when ya turn it over the water will come out in a downward angle. Okay kids, today I am going to teach you all how to make a carbon filter for around $10 using things you will find in your own home. But seriously, knocked one of these up for my grow box 2 days ago, the smell has been reduced by 95% which is perfect. No longer have to worry about close neighbours getting a whiff of the herbs... I will say it here before you read any further, this is probably only applicable to small grows, grow boxes etc. (trust me small growers, it WILL stink!) hey there all finally i have it ready and the pics done so here we go a nice cheap carbon filter you can make at home Materials: * 1m piece of 200mm PVC pipe * 1.2m 120mm PVC pipe * 2 X 200mm PVC pipe end caps * 1 120mm PVC pipe end cap * 1 Pair ladies stockings * .5m Welded cage wire or similar * .5m wool Wadding or synthetic * 1 can plastic spray on primer * 1 can black spray paint * 1 piece sand paper (not too coarse) * Glue Strong hold Step 1: Get your 120mm pipe and mark out evenly spaced holes along it leaving one end with about 30cm with no holes and the other end with about 5cm. once marked out drill the hole with quiet a large drill bit. Heya Guys =), Well, had to get rid of some trim in the freezer to make room for important stuff............. like food, , so I thought I'd do a hash run and while i was at it take heaps of photos and make an Easy- How to guide for people just getting into Ice Water Extraction to make hash. Hi all, i had abit of a search around and i really couldn't find any thing on Fire Safety so i thought i would just put this out there I know there's been plenty of times in the past 20 odd yrs of growing indoors when i have been worried about my house going up in flames due to something going wrong with electricity or something over heating ect. Hey Im a beginner grower, Just start some indoor growing down in my basement. SO EXCITED Ive not got my plant buzzing under some beauty HID lights a couple of weeks after germinating them. I found this piece of tutorial helpful for germinating properly. Check it out if ya a newbie.
