Hi everyone, i currently have a 3 x 2 box at 165cm high and i'm after a 4 x4 tent at 200cm high there looks to be two type of cheap tents available one with a front H door that i can't get enough info on and the other with the curved zip at the front, I do like the idea of the vertical zip has someone seen or used this tent from dicksmith. vertical zip https://www.dicksmith.com.au/da/buy/golden-kolor-non-toxic-600d-grow-tent-h-door-type-120x120x200cm-gl_120/ another option with curved zip. https://www.dicksmith.com.au/da/buy/certa-hydroponic-indoor-grow-tent-120-x-120-x-200cm/

One concept I'm playing with and trying to toy with us this, air conditioner diffusers sit in a window and look like a vent and can provide a stealthy approach to ventilation. The question is the FLIR problem. By now if your not completely retarded and have seen the movie mile 22 the beginning of the movie involves FLIR sensitivity being turned up to a point where it can see through walls, if your are intelligent you would have already stapled mylar bubble wrap to the walls to block FLIR, and if you wanted to be 100% sure a layer of fly screen under the mylar. The question here is do you evenly distribute the heat through a house or disguise ventilation? I've seen…

Hey OZStoners! Long time smoker, first time even flirting with the idea of growing. Brand new member here on the forums too. Seemed only appropriate to choose here and be discussing with fellow, like-minded mates! I have always wanted to grow but never actually put the effort in to doing the research, getting everything prepped etc. Being at a loss for something to do lately, and just having a want for a new hobby, something new to learn and tinker with. I thought growing would just be the perfect solution! Not to mention the eventual financial benefits too. I’m not underestimating the amount of learning, trial+error, ups+downs and most important of all - fun, that’s re…

If anyone's interested. My ghetto grow room in my shed. Setup on ultra budget. $60 lights each. Lined with a bunch of $1 emergency blankets from eBay. [emoji16] Scrap wood from roadsides and what I had about. Insulation literally from a constr-site bin. Still got some sealing to do and need to add some fans and vents etc. Which I picked up out of some old server racks. [emoji106][emoji106] Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Hi All, I did my first balcony grow last season and was amazed by the results. Ended up with 4 plants producing a bit over 300g of a better smoke than I can otherwise get. Now I need a year round solution. I own my own place and have a study with space for a 1m x 1m tent. It has a non opening window with a fire sprinkler in the middle (heat activated). Working from home at the moment and the room sits at around 18 degrees through winter. Not sure about summer but it doesn't get any direct sunlight so should be low twenties. I want to do it right the first time so my Questions are: How much heat would the tent produce and could this be an issue with the door cl…

I'm just after advice on how I've set up this space. Mostly the plumbing, I haven't put it together yet and want to get it right. I hope the drawing makes sense. Does the feed line and drain line lookalike it would work. The res is tucked up under a false floor so plenty of fall back to it. Buckets are 20litre perlite draining into another bucket. Planning to make 150mm feeder rings out of the 13mm poly. May the children be free

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a brand of digital pH meter please? Is there much difference between a cheap or expensive meter? I see the prices have a large gap, from just $15 to $160. I bought a standard liquid type test kit with my grow kit but I'm colourblind so reading those bloody charts are impossible. I had my family all take a look and even they couldn't really get an accurate figure. My local store has a Hydrotester PH-80 for $95... not sure if that's good or not.

Hey guys, first hydro grow, just wanting to get some advice before starting if possible. Tent: 1.2 x 1.2 x 2 Lighting: 600w HPS Gravity fed autopots Perlite/vermiculite mix approx 75/25 Temperature test run overnight shows 28C, slightly higher now in the middle of the day at 31C. This hood didn't come with a tube so I'm hoping it doesn't get too hot. 62% humidity as it is now without plants or water. Should I get airstones for the pots? Anything else you can see which I should think about?

Any of you absolute legends have a spare pro pot feed ring? I have 4 beautiful babies waiting to go to their final home and I’m missing one feed ring. Apparently they are discontinued, I have been waiting over a month to hear this from my local hydro shop. System won’t work without it as they are modular, feed ring into pot/ net pot into feed ring. Willing to pay $1’000’000 or what you thinks fair (like double retail + postage, positive vibes sent your way, seeds from my own quality mix ect...) I’m north Brisbane willing to drive a lil way to get one. Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app
