Hi all, Ive been looking to automate my garden somewhat.I'm after controllers... NOT monitors.. not point in monitoring if i can't adjust remotely.... I grow in Vert style, clay balls, Two mirror 4k rooms . Ive been looking online and have found several overseas companies such as Iponic, growtonix, these are quite advanced however they are not 220-240 volt. Can anybody recommend any in Australia OR ones that a power converter could be used( the latter probably won't work) so I'm looking for aussie style controller with WIFI... Has anyone successfully used one of these swamp coolers in a closed off grow room situation? how do u control the humidity seeing as that's how these coolers work? its interesting I just came across these on youtube than searched ebay and seen one for sale on there they are basically a evaporative cooler but on a bigger scale would like to hear from anyone using one in a grow room

Hey guys I've got a space about 1m x 1m x 1.8 tall. Is this enough space for me to grow 2-4 plants in? It's in a small garage in a unit block. I want to keep it as simple as possible. Keeping it dark wouldn't be too much trouble. Hand watering by watering can. Just want a few plants for personal use where I can have some control over what strain I use for my back pain and mental relaxation needs. What things should I consider? First post so go easy. tried using the search function but couldn't find what I was after. Any links etc would be appreciated.

I have a spare barrel thinking about using it as a pre veg chamber seeing there is no tents small enough and the shape i need, barrel is 600mm high and around 450mm wide, thinking about lighting i have a few options, #1 go a single LED COB, #2 go a 7 inch round LED grow light, #3 go a 11 inch round LEd grow light i have a nice flat surface to fit a 60mm exhaust fan any idea's? barrel is like this one https://www.boundarywaterscatalog.com/prodimages/1895-DEFAULT-l.jpg

Hey guys just setting up a new grow box and was wondering what you guys thought on the fan placement. Will it be alright to exhaust the room with it like it is or should I set it up so it's drawing air from outside the box. It's going to have the cooltube out take and a ventilation fan aswell. Ok, so need a little help with choosing components. Will be growing in a large 2 car shed. Doubt i will have to worry about smell control. Only want to grow 4 plants at a time all from seed probably feminised. Looking to go sea of green. Will only be growing in winter as the shed will be too hot in Summer and don't want to go overboard with cooling in summer as i can grow outside in the summer months. Looking at a grow tent and growing in soil. Hey everyone, decided im going to go ahead and buy a tent, will be my first time indoor. been down to the local store they said the got 'cheapies but good cheapies'? not sure of brand. been looking around on google as well and see gorilla tents are to be of high quality. and see some people decided to buy them from ebay. was just hoping maybe for some recommendations from peoples experience? are gorillas worth the money? or is there other tents that are much better value? cheers

Hey guys So ive never grown before and i have some seeds on their way. Ive ordered White Widdow, AK 47 and blueberry. I now need to purchase a complete grow tent. I have room fir a 1.2 x1.2 tent. I need adviceon where to order everyting I need and exactly what I need. Im willing to spend a bit on it as cheap is deer. Hey fellow members. Really enjoyed reading this forum for the past month and now have a few questions. I was planning on using a tent but have decided I may convert a wardrobe as I like the disguise element. . My ideal set up will be 4-6 babies. . I'm just a little confused as I normal just put a few outside so new to indoor. I'm basically wondering if I can use this somehow set up this space to be used from start to finish. . I have just spent ages creating a grow-room journal spreadsheet with tons of formulas, calculators, conversions, etc - which I would like to share with the Oz Stoner crew. I originally made it for personal use - so I could keep good records of my own grows and to simplify things like ppm conversion, lucas formula addback, US to metric conversion, etc, etc. the main purpose of the spreadsheet is for record keeping of personal grows, so you can easily see how different strains perform in your personal setup in order to maximize productivity etc, etc And of course it performs many calculations/conversions automatically with minimum input from the grower, really helpful for…

Every one of these timers that I've bought have failed, doesn't matter where or what i plug into them(even just your standard book lamp which their meant for correct, they fail.) after about 3-10 days they just stop working. Sometimes after playing with them for a bit(adjusting pins, twisting the dial a few time, etc.) they will work again but not for long. This is really starting to shit me, even the expensive digital one that i paid $84 for and was supposed to be "heavy duty" and "this will handle just about anything" lasted all but half a day. Hey all love to hear from the experienced as to what the optimum growing temp is ? Did hear 25-30deg was ideal ?, but with summer approaching is more like 30-40 & thats without lights ? if its too hot how does it effect yr grow Also read you cau use more like a HID globe than the traditional ones that dont give off the same amount of heat ?
