Hi Guys! I was wondering whether anyone had a design layout for a simple grow room. I live with 5 friends who are all smokers and it is getting quite expensive to fork out close to $150/day for weed!! We wish to set aside a decent size room for growing (4mx3mx3m) but have no clue on what we need to get started. Any help would be great! Thanks

I run a couple of 430W Son-T-Agros. When I first got set up I bought el cheapo $10 timers, one for each light. A 430W light should only draw a couple of amps, these were rated to ten amps so I figured I'd be OK. nup, within a couple of weeks they weren't switching off. No big deal, I'm in veg so was just running the lights 24/7 till I replaced the timers. So a couple of weeks back I picked up a couple of heavy duty timers. The packet said they were designed for airconditioners and other heavy equipment. Cost me about $40 each from memory. Anyway I come home today to discover one of the lights hasn't turned off. Can anyone recommend a brand of timer thats reliab…

Hi there fellow ozstoners and jedi alike... I'm just about to get my second wardrobe for my next indoor grow, and as I've never grown in a double wardrobe I was wondering how others may have done it.... I've grown in a single (600mm x 600mm x 1800mm) wardrobe that was very crudely and cheaply built. This did the job I suppose, but never really met my expectations really. I'm not what you would call the richest man on the planet, and this was reflected in the recycled growroom I built! It became sort of a practice run, putting the knowledge I had gained from various sources into a growroom that would teach me valuable newbie growing lessons.... These lessons have…

Hey guy's while i was thinking of culturvating plants wich need high humidty like Muwie Wowie . What do people think about Sweating the room ?. when i mean sweat I mean inlineing your grow room with plastic sheets , so the mostiour level in your grow room gets higher also if plants dont require such a high photo period . what about cooling and feeding the plants with Dry ice and anti oxerdence allowing the room to breath and have a way of venterlation also including your fans wich you put in . i was just wondering if it was a sensible idea to sweat the room to get high mostiure levels .

Does anyone have or know of a good C.A.D. or drawing program that can help in designing a growroom? I remember that my father used to have a program called "Home", which had add ons like "Kitchen" and "Bathroom" which you could use to design a house, kitchen, etc and then either print or send those plans to a builder who can take the design further. Has anything like that been done for designing growrooms? Or cabinets? Or are there any free to download drawing programs that others have used to design their grow on their pc's? Just wondering.... and sick of drawing on paper..... peace

Hey guys, I've been thinking about the next grow, and I may go with a flood and drain table, growool blocks (15cm) with clones (about 8 or so in a 600mm w x 600 mm d space) growing as single colas around 45cm high at harvest. (Oh is that possible by the way? ) Does anyone have any links or pictures describing how to build a small flood and drain table as above? I'm pretty poor , so the budget is definetly a guiding factor here... If any of my fellow jedi can enlighten me as to the strange inner workings of the "flood and drain" then they will have the undying gratitude of a jedi... not a small thing.... !!! Thanks guys peace... p.s. anyone else grow in th…

Every Flood and drain system i've seen, there only trickeling water through the pipe or whatever there using. I have about 3" of water in my pipes. at 3 inch there just at the pot level. but i figure i got roots coming out the bottom of the pots so i gotta be doing something right. hehehehe
