hi, i'm a newbie on the forums and came across this site while searching for grow fridges in australia. i am just after any info anyone has, experiences or general knowledge of this fridge. i work flat out and have no real time to sit down and purchase lights, tools etc and make one myself. so i thought why not buy one already made up and just keep it for personal use. the fridge i was looking at was called the 'Space Monsta 8' and thought it would be perfect for pirce($506) and easily stored in the cupboard. i am a single working female who is just devoted to work and use the green to relax. any help will be much appreciated. thanks, kelly.

After picking everyone’s...Brains...I have finally finished, or near too finished the grow room. The Basic's...Size is important then!!!!! Or so they say. 1 x Room Height 2000 Width about 1300 Depth about 650 All wrapped up with a shine blanket! Light (to start with) 1 x 600w HPS with switchable ballast 1 x GE Luca Grow lamp – Son T anyone? 1 x extractor fan ducted into one 1-x Mountain air carbon filter (will be putting in the line fan in over the weekend to drive into the filter), so standard extractor might go, or be used at lights out time. 1 x thermostat to control the inlet air and extractor fan. (will again go in over the weekend). 1 x temp & humi…

Hey fellas... i'm making a grow cupboard. I wanna keep it pretty simple, not too complicated. The cupboard i'm using is an Ikea, which is a perfect flat bond white. It measures 96Wx58Dx170H (cm). I have a 400 watt HPS which i'll hang from the roof of the cupboard with chains, theres little plugholes down the walls which i can use to hold the chains. And also maybe for some compact fluros if i need them. I reckon, allowing for light space, pot size, etc, i'll have a growing space of at least 1.5 metres. For ventilation, i have 3 CPU fans, 1 which is 80x80mm, 2 which are 40x40mm. I was thinking of using the smaller ones as intake fans low in the cupboard and using the lar…

Hey all , Is two metres enough room for a plant to grow from start to finish ?? I was planning to make my box either 2 or 2.5 metres but then i realised my bucket was 50cm in height and the reflector measures out to 15cm ... soo that would give me only 80cm of growing space ( if i build it 2m high ) Soo Iv decided to make it 2.65 metres in height and still 1 metre square base. Would i experience any probs ?? I cant seem to upload a file i got on paint so i cant really explain my circumstances properly .. I appologise for any miss understanding

Hey, Some of you may have seen this already but i finally got permission to move it over here too This is a grow of a few greenthumbs that ive known for a few years..But have only been mentoring for the last few grows.. The original system was bought from a hydro store for 3400$..It consisted of 2 1000watt 4 piece china hats but used 2 600 advenjures 2 nft tables (3 trays with 4 pots) 24 x 8" pots(clay balls and drip fed) Resevoirs + pumps, self water system etc Panda film 10 mtrs It used a space of about 1.5 x 1.5 per table.Luckly i had 30 or so clones that were prevegged in 4" pots of coco for 3 weeks since roots showed. Hi there I am currently prepering to design a room for my next crop. I am going to make it around 2 1/2m square at the base and 2m tall and thinking of either a hydro drip system or flood and drain. The room will hold a 1000w light and between 10 & 20 plants/clones. I rent at the moment and Its just to hard to grow a decent amount with realestate wanting to inspect every few months and so on. The room/box will live in the garage(doubble lockup) wich will make it non of the realestates business. I have some experiance growing but have only done Hydroponics once before many years ago. I know how to set up and grow but know very little about how to ventilate su…

I was thinking, I have a dresser, I was going to grow in there, yetI realised that my plant could only reach a single foot tall in there.. because the whole dresser is 2 and a quarter feet tall...I dont think that could do it for the yeild I would liek to have.. from 6 plants (or could I get a decent yeild??) so I was going to make a halfbox half open room for growing, by that I mean there wil be 4 wall and the floor, of course, but no top... I could jsut cover it with a blanket or soemthing.... would I still need an exhaust fan, it will be aprox 2 square feet (2X2) of open space... I will stil ahve a fan blowing onto the pnats.. but a fan to get fresh air will still be n…

Living in inner city apartments has forced a number of constraints on the urban marijuaneros. I've always tried to combine function with form, and have tried a number of setups - flood n drain, slabs, soil (man that was a mess) and I think this system is the most hassle free and un 'home invading' as I've come up with so far. In a home office down one end of the room, where the shelving and cupboards are. It usually has a plush brown cover on it that matches into the rest of the furnishings in the room, so it just looks like a tidy storage cupboard. I took it off for the pic. It is made of malemine on the outside to match the existing robe. Inside is lined with 5mm foa…

, not again you all say! my friend and i have decided togrow a little bit more as she now has more room with her spare bedroom as the room to grow. we were thinking of setting up something similar to the "36 Plant Kit Sea Of Green" as seen at http://www.grow.com.au/ under megaheads grow system. anyway, without forking out $1700 for the unit, does anyone have a plan or a way to put this together with the plumbing and lights etc. if somehow this is too much for us two gals to put together would orderin on the easy plan be safe from grow australia? don't want police turning up at her house a few months later. but i hoping we can construct something a bit more cheap…
