hey guys a gals i've got a tin shed down the back 3mx3mx2mh that i'm turning into a grow room i live in SE QLD so it gets as hot as hell here i was just wondering if anyone here has insulated a tin shed before and what is the best insulation to use.thanks for any info

ok people i have been growing for 2 years indoor and never really pulled any amount of bud worth bragging about so i want to now whats the best way to grow under a 600w hps light. is it scrog sea of green what I started buy growing 16 plants to 15in tall then turned them to bud , out of this i got like 6ounces!!! this has been the way i have been doing it for years, no screen no nothing. im currently trying just 2 big plants under a 600w but by the time they reached the height the hydroshop lady told me to turn them at they should of been twice as round as they are, there like 70cm tall and round like a ball , they told me not to tipthem but i thik i should of to get mo…

High All After months of browsing oz stoners and getting some good ideas ,i have decided to convert a old cupboard i had into a grow room. Things are going well but my first issue is with the reflector,It seems to be just slightly smaller than the dimensions of the cupboard which are 800wide x 550deep x 1750high. the cupboard is lined with panda film and the reflector is very near if not touching the film in places.[Approx i inch gap around edge of reflector and the walls]. i am using a 400w light and have yet to crank it all up yet but was wondering wether the panda film was likely to melt or worse still ignite.

I throw myself at the mercy of the benevolent OZ Stoners . I live in an apartment which I rent, and I have 10 lowryder seeds. I would like to grow them indoors, and just one to start with, in soil. I can get a cupboard - I would prefer to get a small one, I have one that I think would be about 1m tall, 70 cm deep and about 150cm wide. But I can always pick one up from somewhere. I have searched around forums etc and there seems to be no 'right way' to go about nutrients and lighting... the Joint Doctor thinks 18 hrs is good while many people say just leave on the lights for 24 hours. So confusing... I am happy to make my own mistakes but I would like to know some…

Hey everyone quick question. I have a closet growroom with the specs of 2 feet wide 5 feet long and 8 feet tall with an exhaust fan to the addict and another osilating fan on the babies... my question is that i have been using a 150w hps light and im reaching my first week of flowering and I have a friend that is willing to donate a 400W hps but im wondering if there will be heat problems should i just invest in a 250w?

Just thought I'd pass on my thoughts on the ideal growroom. I am not claiming to be an expert of any kind, but I have had more experience than most regarding growrooms. I started growing under lights in 1976 when I bought a 1000W MH light, and have had many growrooms since. But the most of my experience has come from helping 100's of people set up growrooms while I ran my hydroponic shop for almost 15 years. Well i thought i would post this Because i am one very happy stoner with my find... I went into my local secondhand dealer too see what he had to offer...And this is what he had.. Hey peeps Im finally getting my setup together...piece by piece now I'm thinking my light is overkill for my space! I got a 600W HPS setup in a cupboard which is about 160cm high, 60cm deep and 90cm wide. I've thrown a 120 litre plastic tub in there covered most of it in duct tape, still gotta do the lid but gotta get some net pots first so i can cut some holes and whatnot. But 600W in that space - I hope it wont but do you think it will cause a lot of heat issues? I'm thinking, get a waterpump & nutes & plastic tubing plus an airpump & airstone and definately have to cut some holes out of the cupboard to chuck in an intake and exhaust fan, the cupboard…

I hope I posted in the right place, Ok This is the 1st trial run. I have a 2" by 7" closet It's long and narrow . I want to do say 3 or 4 plants. I'm sprouting seeds from God knows where . I will get them going under 40 florecsents. II plan to pick up a used 1000wt MH lamp next weekend. I will have to replace the bulb no doubt. At this point I'm leaning with potting soil but could easily setup a rough NFT setup. I thought I would use a length of 4" pvc but think it is way to small in diameter. I have an Ro /di water filter and PH , ALK test kits, TDS meter f I use on my aquariums. I have plenty of plumbing practice so I can easily picture a hydro setup with the …

Hey guys, i could really use some help .. trying to see if my light is too powerful for my space.. wardrobe dims are (centremeters - add a 0 for millimeters) 156 Height . 85 Width . 45 Length. 600w Light.. i used the room converter it said the max i couldhandle is 280watts.. i put in 600 for the v olts part thinking it means watts? maybe ive donethis wrong any help much appreciated! i got lots of fans!
