Cheap Tent 1 2 3 4

After my recent failed winter grow (NL buds not fattening up thread) I'm on the hunt for a tent. I plan to hang my 400w hps in there and maybe a small fan. I have odour under control so no need for a fan and filter hanging in the tent. My main purpose will be to keep the temps a bit higher and hoping the 400w hps will do that for me. Should I need it to cool down I'll open up some vents as needed. Light leaks are no issue as the bigger room it's in is dark 24x7. Would a cheap ebay tent as per pic be OK given my sole purpose is to keep the temps up? Size 1x1x2m tall. MLG Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Could be my eye sight is just deteriorating rapidly but could be that checking out my lights and grow each day is doing something too. Most days I fiddle with my 400w hps and position slightly differently and check with my light meter. Do any of you wear glasses to protect your eyes or I just accept the fact I'm getting old and my eyesight is failing MLG Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Righto, I'm looking to build a new cab out of plywood. I'm thinking of 2.2m high, 1.2m deep, and 2.4m wide and I'm wanting to know if anyone is up to speed with the latest and greatest paint on wet sealing products on the market today? When I redone a bathroom 10 years ago I used a "Bear" product that was fantastic for that job, but it was latex based. Which is what I'm trying to avoid for this project. Because if I sit buckets or pots on it, it would most likely want to lift up with them (over time) as I pull them out. So I'm looking for something that I can paint on by brush, and it'll dry harder and less likely do what I'm trying to avoid. I know I could fibreglass t…

Hi everyone, have had a look around but can't find what I need to know. Basically all I'm asking is if anybody can tell me the magic number of plants I'd be able to have before they deem it a commercial quantity and throw the book at you alot harder? Any help or links to online legislation pages would be appreciated thank you. Also in Tasmania. Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hi all, After my purchase advice thread, I now have a protoype product to grow some girls! 400w hps in a cooltube, 8" filter, phresh fan and ducting. All in a 1x1x2... Passive intake at the moment at the bottom right, I am doing temperature graphs to work out temp data of the cooltube, may do some positive pressure with some 100mm pc fans- not sure yet It's as quiet as I would hope. The wiring is a bit messy at the moment, I'll wire in a power board shortly. But you get the idea. Please let me know if there is any advice! Ps the girl in there now (my first), has sort of been trained- I'll do a rough scrog to spread em out a little once I have it dialled in. https:…

Finally finished the new grow room. Its literally a room within a room, with fully lined sound absorption on both intake and exhaust. Tested her out tonight and she is silent, just what I was chasing...took some planning and nutting out. I used 6mm cement sheeting on each side of each wall with 3.5r rockwool insulation in the walls and ceilings. Used sound proof exterior doors with door seals all around. Intake goes through 4m of tunnel all lined with Martini Absorb HD50 sound absorbtion material. This HD50 is amazing stuff totally shitting all over the old nitrile eggcrate foam I used to use in the old room. Exhaust is a westaflex 10" which goes through a silencer each s…

I know it's a vital bit of equipment that usually gets overlooked with a few indoor grow rooms. But just after checking mine out, I noticed it's lost its charge, and seeing I'll need to replace mine I thought I might bring it to others attention just in case theirs need replacing or may need to consider purchasing one or more. Because the last thing any grower needs is fire that they can't contain themselves, and in turn have a neighbour call the firies. Because as you know, they'll hand it straight over to the police once they've found the source of the fire. Not only that, if you have a fire elsewhere (not related to your grow) in the building that contains your room,…

OK... So the title is a bit misleading. For my upcoming plants I'm doing in the cupboard I'm watering and then collecting the runoff in a bucket before putting them back into the cupboard. If I want to reuse this runoff, what do I need to consider? I'm guessing the following things - Check ph Filter out any crap (not really necessary for me as I'm hand watering this lot. Check and adjust ppm. Now the ppm adjustment is where I've got some questions. Because it's run through coco, is what I see in the ppm some other stuff from the coco it's just been through. Because initially it's just tap water ppm and my nutes. If it comes out higher do I just dilute it and reuse becau…

Hi all, I'm new to the green growing world and allthough the vegies grow well outside. The green stuff hasn't. So I'm going to try indoors! I've been doing lots of reading and I was tossing up between getting my feet wet with micro but I'm thinking it is smarter to have some expandability with 400watt hps setup. I would ideally like one big, trained plant to minimize legal trouble in the worst case scenario of getting caught. My question is can someone provide tried and tested ballast/globe/tent brands that are up to date (maybe PM online listing links? That would be unreal). I have read a lot of old posts and either can't find the brands/similar products. I'm not on…

Ok so thinking of investing a bit of tax return into grow lights/tent but have zero idea about them How much does a setup effect a power bill? Can you still use soil? Do you need a fan and carbon filter? How many lights and what size area for 10 plants at a time or 5 if can harvest every 3 months. Have a spare room that's never used so could that be easier than a tent? Is watering same as a outdoor soil grow where water only as needed? Did kinda ok with my outdoor considering it was first try at totally wrong time of year. Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
