Hello my fellow stoners, I am putting together a list of materials for my grow and I was hoping that the members could have a look and see if there is anything I've missed (certain of it) or have included unnecessarily. This list includes some stuff I already have and stuff I still have to buy, but it is for a 6 plant DWC system. I have decided to go with Mylar sheets instead of a grow tent because I've got the room to do it and I think the sheets will be more versatile. Hey guys, Was just looking around for suitable grow tents, I am after 2-3 maybe 4 eventually plants. What do you's reckon of this: www aussieponics.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=87 The description sounds alright, Especially the "Heatproof" which is really my main concern but is a grow tent good for end results such as size, health and yield of the plant? And also from experience how reliable and user friendly are they as in able to adjust lights closer / further and customizing etc.? hi all did'nt get any pollen this year so i had to make up something to keep some cuttings going through winter , i pinched the light over the snooker table its a big fker to so heres inside with some cutts this is DADS floor under the cuboard an heres his wall it works well suckig the cool air from under house an hot air rises up out through the wall cavitty up to ceiling , an its so close to wall i just stuffed socks in an aroiund the hole to seal the cuboard to the wall cav , dont think ill need a exaust fan till i upgrade to hps light , its a constant 26 deg so as long as the old man dont go snooping around ill be rite , so what …

Hi all. Finally got myself in a position to acquire a decent lighting system. Anything I should know/precautions I should take in purchasing? I want to go LED, so would it be better buying overseas, or is there a safe/cost effective way to do it in Oz? Any advice would be greatly accepted

Hey there folks, Would love some help on a power problem i have. Last grow i had 2x 600w, 36w fluro, and all the pumps and fans to go with it, running off one power point. At one point the saftey switch on the first power board flicked when i added a small pump in my clone room. To fix this i did some creative extension cord work and have distributed the power over the 2 plugs fairly evenly. no probs for the rest of the grow. Now i want to put a 3rd 600w in the mix. now i can't get the 3rd one to light. it seems like the first 2 to turn on work fine (any 2) then the 3rd can't light. I have tested the ballasts individually. Is there a limit to how much i can draw…

Hey guys. Iv'e been looking around for ages to find what i want. and i can't seem to find anyone, whos not really hard out growing with some crazy ass hydro set up, or at least a tent of some kind. Anyway, im keen to grow indoors for the first time. As i have grown a few plants outdoors, but they were not fantastic seeds, and i didn't really care much about them. lucky they survived really... Well im keen to invest in some new seeds, and hopefully get some quality bud grown in my attic. Its a pretty big area, like i can stand and im about 185cm. JUST though. It's about 3m wide, and it's a basic attic above my carport. So there is slats where the roof goes over the attic …

So as im a beginner i have no idea but this fasanites me so much i want to try some of my own The only trouble im having so far is where im going to grow. I want to keep it in my room and only grow 1 or 2 plants to start off with but i want something big enough for at least 6 or more. I was thinking maybe an old 2nd hand white cabinet, a grow tent as found on ebay or just make one up myself out of plywood and maybe pvc or some other wood. Any idea would be great. I do have a man hole right above me in my roof too for possible ventilation. Thanks

hey everyone. Is a 250mm outlet fan big enough for a 3x3x3metre room? the only air intake this room will have is a wall vent that is in some old houses.....i was told the fan will draw in the air from there and it should be all good? is this true? there will be 4 plants, 4 x 45liters tubs with 1 plant per tub and 1 x 45liter resivor running under 2 x 1000watt HPS lights with 4 foot chinamen hats. what does everyone think? im thinking i will run a 3000lph pump for water flow from the resivor to each tub back to the resivor and a 500lph water pump for the feeders. does anyone know a good trust worthy hydroshop i can order a complete system from? or can someone sugge…

Hey all, I've been growing my own pot now for just over 20 years now (all outdoor) and have been generally very happy with what I have produced over the years. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control, I have now been forced into suburbia, so now it's time to learn growing under lights. I'm thinking of using a small shed (1.50 x 1.50 mts) for setting up my indoors but was wondering if any type of insulation might be needed to protect my plants from the weather (I live by the coast like 40kms north from Perth's CBD where weather is pretty dry and temperatures can reach over 40 degrees in summer and can drop to 1 degree in winter )as well as for avoiding smells to scape. Any suggestions are very welcomed.

Well I suppose it had to happen.............. A while back I was lucky enough to get 2 seeds off a mate while visiting Brisbane last september (went down to see my Mum my Kids and go to the Chrysler Show which was washed out) LUCKY.............I bought some weed off a friend on the way down......good smoke, but no seeds My Ol'Mate was lucky enough to get a few buds for his birthay of Hydro, and we found 2 seeds......................... Hi all. I have been planning on starting my first grow and am super paranoid about fires. I see most cupboard growers here use wooden cabinets and cupboards which I guess is easier to work with. I have seen a suitable steel stationary cabinet that is lockable and won't look too out of place in my double garage. Oh I will be keeping my car in this same garage too... My thinking was if a fire did start somehow inside the cabinet it would be contained inside. Do you think it would be self extinguishing?
