I've gotten interested in the autopot design. I like the simplicity basically set and forget for short periods of time. This might allow for some leniency in the festive season whear you might need to be otherwise engaged. The Major downer, there is a 40% reduction of output when using an autopot compared with a comparative hydro sys. Alright everyone, I've decided to grow Pure Kush from the feminised seeds that are in the mail. I've also decided to construct a grow tent 3m2 out of 20mm pvc pipe, suitable joiners and white plastic for the walls, floor etc. I'll be growing them from seed in soil under lights (how many watts will i need for this size grow tent) Working off the principal that Pure Kush yields 900gms per square meter under 1000watts of light, would it be a safe calculation of 3000 watts? also could anyone recomend a good medium? After becoming inspired by numerous micro grows out there I shall embark on my own. The PC case option was too small and the cupboard too big so I have decided to use a Road/Flight case. It's rigid, light proof and the perfect size for the unit/rental scenario. I'll be moving into a unit soon so I've got to get a good mobile stealth option happening. well i thought this may of been of interest to some people ,only took 7 beers on a lazy sat afternoon!!!. Hi Everyone When I say I'm a complete noob, I mean i have never grown pot and have only ever eaten a hash cookie once (i ate 2 and ended up in bed ordering pizza - wasnt able to get out of bed and open the door!). So I got off my arse and thought about how to make a simple veg room in the shower and then it came to me. The same box that was big enough to house the 4 plants for a couple of days in the garage while we had The Man wandering around our house, would also make a great little veg box. It was a BBQ box so it is of the large variety. I have been toying with the idea of growing my own weed in what used to be advertised on TV as a small herb growing pot called Areogarden. hey guys just been playing around with my 1.2x1.2x2.0m tent and noticed it was very flimsy after opening and closing it a couple of times it now moves around when i pull the zippers i got a drill and screws but just dont know what to get i was thinking of geting the same type poles as the tent and hamering the two ends flat and screwing about 3 on the back of the tent and sides would this work or will i need to screw some thing to the joints asswell? and where do i get the poles from? im in nsw

Hey everyone. I am in the process of setting up my first deep water culture setup, and have run into a problem. When i fire up my pump, the water levels in my buckets(4+control) varies significantly, even though all my pipes are of equal length. I thought maybe putting a tap to reduce the flow to the buckets that are filling too much. Any thoughts? And, can anyone tell me the best way to germinate seeds for a dwc? Thanks for reading.... Chef
