Hello all! After many years of cannabis consumption (the last three of which I've been a member of this wonderful community), I recently decided I wanted to grow my own. It's something I've been considering for a while and something I'm sure goes through every stoner's mind (bar those of you who already do grow - which I'm sure is most of you). After assessing my current surroundings (a somewhat busy suburban street close to a school and major shopping centre) I thought it best to grow indoors. However the idea always seemed a little far-fetched and too much trouble to bother with - after all I had no experience with hydroponics, and the word alone was enough to send …

Total newbie at this, right out of my comfort zone but ya gotta go with the times I spose. drobe : 500x1200x 1700 painted the inside flat white lighhting : 250w cfl to veg 400w hps to flower. I am a bit concerned that the 400hps might get to hot for the grow space but i figured that hot air rises & being 1700 high that if I buy intake & outlet fans with a bit of grunt it would be ok. medium : done some research on hempy buckets & like the sound of them but unsure whether to go that way or maybe a mixture of coco & vermiculite. strain : white russian have only got 5 regular seeds was hoping to get at least 1 male & 1 female & let them breed…

Hey all, trying to get some input into a setup i wanna do when my plants have showed sex. I'm thinking of going with a bat fridge, hopefully a slightly taller then normal. and put a 120w CFL in it with a little 120mm fan for the outake and a passive intake. Im looking at this CFL, http://www.simplyhydroponics.com.au/component/k2/item/624-compact-130w2700k-fluoro-hydroponic-light-kit.html It's a semi small budget space, with a second hand fridge that ill strip and hopefully make it stealthy. Lemme know what you guys think

Today i put together this hula-hoop screen with a grid of 2.5'. It's secured with zip ties all around the border, and down the side of the screen to link the mesh together as it just didn't reach in one fit. Hoop-$2.5 Pink zip ties-$1 5m mesh-$5 I've got it hung from the tent bars but its very crowded and too light for that, so i'm going to repot and zip tie it to 3-5 stakes in the pot. Let me know what you think

Hey all, Decided i wanted to build a scrog screen to fit my 1.2m x 1.2 m tent for under $40, and thought i would share my idea with you guys. 1st) Go to hardware and find some cheap sections or lengths of 20mm PVC piping (not going to used for water so no need for the pressure pipe). you will need 4 x 1m lengths for frame and 4 x 1m length for legs. at my local hardware managed to find 20mm pvc pip for $2 a mt and got 8 for $16. Total cost so far $16 2nd) You now will find the parts for the feet and the corners as well as the connectors.as seen here: Now the t section to the left of photo is the par…

Newbie here just thought I might share my room build, ask a few question post a few pics and get some feedback.... The story starts with I have a tropical fish & aquarium addiction and I was down at my favourite fish / hydroponics shop the other day and i couldn't find anything in the aquarium section that i liked and me being me I had a pocket full of cash that i just badly needed to spend on something, I've never really given any thought to hydroponics and it seemed like a cool addition to my list of hobbies, a good friend of mine does a bit of growing which keeps him in smoke and us so i figured I've seen his dodgy looking setup and it seems to work well so i fig…

Hey all, i've just started "trying" to put together my plans for a new grow Tent & Lighting to suit, i have done some research but would still like to hear your feedback on what you think. The Tent size will be 4ftD X 8ftL X 6."7"H, i'm looking to fit it out with 3 X 600W lighting.Do you think this will be a good match? I also would like to ask what brand tents they think is the best on the Aussie market, and why they think so. I seem to be hearing alot of good things about the Secret Jardin Grow tents, are they a good Tent? Thanks Guy's. B.

So i tried to grow weed over the holidays (Had some spare time XD) and i think a gecko ate it I thought i would post some pictures and get some reccomendations on what would be best for my current situation i think the biggest concern would be venillation as the cupboard door would always be closed (To avoid a certain someone finding out) Not sure if it helps but ill put up these pics of the cupboard and some measurements aswell. The inside length of the cupboard and top shelf is 118.1 cm from the ground to the top shelf it is 158.8 cm The height from the shelf to the roof is 64.8 cm If this isn't suitable then i can always do it in my garage but for now i would w…

Greetings growers. I am an avid user of many things, but maker of none. I thought I'd change at least one. So! I was looking at cheap, simple and easy solutions to my cultivation dilemma. I ended up with http://www.growroom....ep-culture-led/ as a solid option to start off. Placement probably inside a closet or bathroom. However, it did not seem to have a great light source, but rather a LED solution. Does anyone have experience with these? Also, I know the importance of space and lighting and the timer, but I have no idea what the f&%! the "deep culture system" might mean. Would it be a bonus or useless when it comes to cannabis growing? I would also like to …

SO, I HEARD U WERE MOVIN INDOORS. Ok, an EXCELLENT idea. Now you can grow all year round. First thing you need to do is make a check list of everything you might need, Dont worry Ive done that for you, Ive tried to explain this in very easy terms; I know every one doesnt have a degree in horticulture, my self included. A few things you read might not make any sense at all, stop stressin, once you start everything should become clear. You learn as you go. Because this is your first time we will start off with a small wardrobe (closet). You can buy these at any second hand store very cheap, under $20. If you dont have great carpentry ski…

Alrighty guys.... I Have a cupboard, I have beans, I have gear, i have the works... I am constructing a box inside the cupboard.... 410mm x 800mm x 1000mm not very wide, but long and tall.... plenty of room in the top to play around with things. What should I construct it from ? Any ideas people ? My thoughts were 18mm x 18mm pieces of wood, used to build the frame to the box, with diagonal braces, to keep it square.... Cheap thin wood/board, for the walls floor and roof. ( With a door and hinges of course ) then paint the inside..... What would you guys use ??? the.weed.fisherman
