Hi all, howsit going, First timer grow room plan here I've been researching via threads throughout the forums and have had a lot of help from the stoner community around here, it's been informative and helpful. Yooo! New to growing and all it's adventures but more then keen on starting, just need a hand Ive got a 1.1m deep, .8m long and .6m cupboard, first of all is this useable or do I need bigger? only really wanting 2 or so plants, I am really keen on dwc systems but never used one so Im not 100% if they work well with CFLS.. Also how many CFLS would be recommend for the space?

Hi there, I'm looking for a commercially made grow box, I've seen some really great ones in the US but the shipping is very expensive and was hoping to pick up something here. I really like this one: http://www.cabinetgrow.com/earth-cab-max-grow-box/ and was hoping to buy something similar. I've done searches on google and looked through various hydroponics sites but noone seems to sell fully set up boxes. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hey guys, by chance and the lady's pull I've got the option of aquiring a refridgerated grow fridge-like device. Basically it kinda looks like what you see in the supermarket but fully set up for growing, it's going for between 1.5k and 2k or 3k with a co2 system and bottle. I don't think I'd worry about the co2 system but what do you guys know of the pros/cons of growing in something like this? It seems pretty lush and could prolly grow in summer but yeah? Cheers

Hey dudes, Being totally useless at handyman stuff I've decided to buy a readymade growtent or growbox, But I'm a little noobish as to how much I should be paying. Hi, I have read a few comments about people experiencing fires. I'd probably rather be busted than have my house burn down... I would love to hear some pointers for minimizing risks. for instance, Are the mylar tents flammable? Should a ballast be put in a fire proof container? Would a HPS fitting ever catch fire? Thanks

Hello, im going to be putting in a few more "Carrot" seeds, i put 2 in the other day and the rats dug them up and eat them, and i acutally tried growing sunflowers legit, and animals keep eating them 25 seeds wasted, I need something that can protect them like a grow box, But not a grow box just something that will protect them untill they get a bit bigger any suggestions thanks?

Hey guys, I've been looking at setting up a little closet grow. What do ya's reckon of this setup? 1m x 1m x 2m growing space (thinking about a tent for a bigger grow space) with a 400w hps n digital ballast, cool tube reflector, centrifugal fan and carbon filter. Any ideas and improvements or whatever would be sweet, so I can get on this journey of growing some dank bud.

Good Evening enthusiasts, I figured it was time I post something so people can see kid of what I'm up to, please keep in mind that alot of the planning is taking place on the fly as we are kind of seeing what works as we go. Currently the case is a Silverstone TJ05, this is only intended for use during the initial Veg stage till they are ready for something larger. I've gone ahead and stripped out anything that wasnt essential that could give e some more space in the grow are, I've had to rip out the mainboard tray, the HDD and DVD rails and a few other things, the result is not a bad little grow box. My summers get to 40 + and i am thinking of steeting up a tent in either my shed or old caravan, neither get shade at all, i will use my 600 watt HPS and a grow tent big enough for 2-3 plants, how badly will that effect the plants??? how much ventilation will i need if i keep tent door open??

Should i use cfl or led lights to avoid detection from helicopters with heat sensors? In america / canada they have heat sensor radars that can have you arrested and apparently cfl and led lights dont produce as much heat, as well as avoiding a high electricity ill. Please help:-)

Any sugestions for keeping temps up in a 1mx1m tent in winter when in 12/12. Plants seam to be adjusting but the drop in temps are defiantley slowing growth. Someone sugested a heat tube like the ones used in greenhouses but the smallest I could find was 1.3m. Any ideas would be apreciated. Cheers.

Yo, im looking to upgrade my system from 2 single power leads to an actual 4 point power box, as im thinking about doubling my lighting from 600w flower to 1200w. What are the best but maybe not the most expensive models people could recommend?
