Ahoy me fellow cannabean pirates. This is my thread on the construction/conversion of a full size fridge freezer to a stealth grow space. This fridge 'The Frigate' freezer will be used just as a stealth clone/cuts/seedling grow space I picked up the fridge at the local dump for nothing and picked the largest, in best condition I could from about 50 old and broken fridge freezers they had there. Internally its like brand new, externally, a few bumpsNscrapes but not that old and would easily pass as working beer/meat fridge The lower freezer compartment will be set up with a bubbler and (currently) 22w fluro ring (700mmWx400mmDx580mmH). Well i was thinking about my new situation in 2014 and setting up for my next grow set up in my new house and thought , man there must be some wicked ideas for grow boxes ,rooms , cupboards and the associated works of hydroponic growing , so I'm hoping this thread may be used for showing off our grow rooms , set ups , etc . We can perverse on each others systems , ask each other questions, get ideas off each other, and help members with others systems that may be in the same situation or in need of a better way , or more effective, and efficient . Hey all. New member here... I'm building a plan for an LED cabinet grow & have a good idea of what I want to do with it in terms of lighting, ventilation etc. though a lot of my final selections will rely on the choice I make on the actual cabinet, in terms of what I will be able to fit in there. Due to space, access & security constraints the cabinet must be max. 1750mm tall, flat pack, lockable & stealthy. Here are some photos of the grow room I have just completed, it is so nice to have some room instead of squeezing into my old tent...the lighting is 600w Hps /Mh combo...the new grow you see is coir over hydroton passive hydro...very simple. Any way just thought I'd share. D

Just thought I'd share an image... and an extra 300 or so words... A little something... someone... somewhere... knocked up as a seedling starter. This is not my fridge. Single light fitting with a 28W 6500K CFL and a n over high powered fan pushing air from the bottom of the fridge, over the plants and out via passive vents. The fan looks like an over sized computer fan, I'm told it's a cooling fan from a PA system... that might mean something to someone with more knowledge of electrtickery than me... but it causes enough draft that the leaves on the seedlings flutter gently, yet is almost silent running. OK where to begin!! decided to build a new cupboard as given the green lite from my missus!! was about to put in my old equipment but ran it to problems when it made way too much noise and got the red lite!! Decided CFLS and Computer fans was the go!! Hi Been lurkin a while and thought I'd drop in cause I'm on the cusp of my first indoor gro after my bush site got rumbled in early prep, was being stalked so I abandoned it and not inclined to go for another. Looking at doing a small room, 3x2x2m, and lookin at buying online what I need. Hi Guys. Just joined up brains on overload from research. I want to set up a couple of rooms for staging I am in a rental property so want to build out of mdf or something similar and I want it pretty quite. figured I can just say I keep my tools in there and a real estate agent shouldn't think twice.
